mine seems to be leaking air and fuel ...where do i purchase a new one?
-
dont worry about it R31 Skyline Chick...the time was the only thing i was after anyway:rolleyes:
-
i might be wrong, but was i the only white r33 there?
-
ahaha, sweet! um...the race numbers were 809 im the white r33 gtst with stock rims, the car isnt lowered so it looks like a 4wd! (not awd)
-
a few months before i bought my car, i went to mondo motors (well that whole car yard) to do a bit of "window shopping." you always hear "oh, we'll fix that up" or "we'll paint that before we sell it" um...why dont they do it before they "advertise" it? maybe coz they hope some poor person doesnt see all the things wrong so they can get out of work (and money)? mayve they will get you to sign things before they fix it...then do it dodgy? anyway....i looked at a r33 gtst (what i have now, but not from there) i was actually interested. i asked for a test drive, he said only if you put down a deposit! he then asked me how old i was, what my insurence record was, how much i earn, then he said "basically, if you're under 27, dont bother. the insurence will kill you!" he pretty much said dont buy this car! so i didnt! (this guy had sooo much gel in his hair, i think it was poisoning his brain. if i was to buy again...i would probably import...much cheaper, and chances are, its not as dodgy!!!
-
ahaha....glad i wasnt in the car at the time! good to see u got it with the bonet up, showin off my "fully worked" engine bay!!!
-
i use mobil synergy....sometimes shell optimax. dont notice any diference but i think a rule of thumb is to use a higher octane fuel from a major brand servo. i always hear dodgy stories about places like safeway and the other small named places
-
hhmmmm...so you could get a time slip, huh? oh well. a little more info on calders side would have been nice. they expected us all to be pre-educated in their rules...ie no racing the track coming back to line up (but who didnt?) so no one told me about the time slips...should have guessed, right? so i have video evidence to back up my "awsome" time claims....hehe, yea awsome:rolleyes: NOT!!! 14.43 @ 98.97 14.61 @ 96.96 14.65 @ um...well...i dont know (the cameraman decided the speed wasnt important enough...thanks stu ) and then me being the adventerous type, experimented with a few things and failed so i thought the times wont important here! (high 15's) considering my car is stock appart from the 3" exhaust from turbo with 2 1/2" cat, i was quite pleased with myself and my baby! all in all i had a really great day, was a first for me and was a bit of an ego booster:cool: i recomend "drag virgins" to get out there and "break yourself in" :eek1: whatever you are driving! (hmmm...hope that didnt offend?)
-
im not a violent person, but...if this world wasnt as screwed up as these guys, id go and puch 'em!
-
um...sorry guys:( it might be people like me who spurr them onto these "speed quests." i drag when ever i get the chance to. well...i just drive normally (as fast as i can, if safe to of corse!) i take off at the lights as if im at calder park, if someone happens to be along side me when the lights go green and they go fast too, then its just more fun for me! i dont care if i loose...hell, i dont care if i win:rolleyes: im just a big kid (but sensible tho) i know my limits and my car fairly well so i dont push it too hard, just enough to keep my head on a backwards angle! plus i keep my eyes on all mirrors for a "cop scan" i tend to stay cautious around suspect "dunny doors" ...uhh..u know what i mean... basically, dragging is good. be it me, you, or the car in the rearveiw mirror - s'all good...just keep it safe.:burnout: i think i'll get a spanking for writing that if my mum ever reads it tho:shake:

just a another tip as well...when you are grounding your amp, make sure the line between the amp and ground is as short as possible. also, the power line which goes to your amp should have a fuse within 30cm from the battery....just some things i have picked up from hanging around a qualified car audio installer
-
now that i can post again...um, have you got me down on your list brendan? coz im still in if my gearbox hasnt sh!t itself by then yet! (does anyone no of a mini or a dato ute thats cheap so i can have some sort of a backup car so i can still get to work if my car poops itself?) i think i'll be the slowest car there but i dont care!
-
hmmm...well i got a quote for a hi-flow cat and install for $550...apparently $300 should be the max to pay...oh well
-
lol u guys crack me up... i was going 2 "quote" some people but that wuld take 2 long...ex-static- "*coughs* stop hijacking *coughs*" - i think hijacking is occuring more often and has evolved into something else...an extreme sport...dont be an ol fuddy duddy, and move on wif the times. ex-static "You must have the same thing in your throat as me..." - lol if i reply 2 dat...it will get removed...lol again! ex-static "I think your her bitch dude." - even though i have never met "miznismo"...i do believe we r all her bitches! (she just dont no it yet) white_r33 "good things come in small packages though amber and u r a prime example of that" - short people are cool...just look at mini me INASNT "*wink wink* nudge nudge*" - aint that the truth ex-static "grrrr.. I started a wasteland thread for a reason!!!" - u calling this waste? ahahahaa ...please forgive me for i no not what i do...+im tired

even tho im not gonna make it (gotta fix my brakes)but...this is a "cruise" so a little bit of driving is to be expected! just remember the idea of this is for us "skylinerz" to get together, and with people living all over melbourne (and further) some people are going to have to travel a long way. so i think "a" person shuld make somewhere practical to meet, and somewhere practical to drive to. then everyone should be happy to meet up, not complain, and enjoy the night as im sure you will!!!!:burnout: i dont wanna sound like my mum but i just think you are all ruining what could be a great night!!! (to cut this post short - stop ur sookin ya babies!!!) :D wel dats wot i fink n e way:p
