  1. I think ur current rims look good
  2. how much did you guys pay to get this sorted?
  3. Hey guys just noticed a click coming from the back of the car when I take off from standstill quickly and if I then back off the gas suddenly if the car is under load. Only just noticed it because I normaly have my windows up and the air con on + the nismo cat back make its hard to hear things going on outside dosent sound too bad, If i leave this for a while is anything bad going to happen?
  4. DNF.... Did not finish
  5. My nismo system gives a rasp which I thought when I first got the car might have been pinging. Only seems to rasp around 4500 to 6000 rpm and yeah as above isint as noticable when everythings heated up
  6. $50 for the coupe is good for me put me down
  7. The newer engines have also had issues burning oil....
  8. Well considoring i live all the way up north in Townsville ill have to check this out and get back to you guys
  9. Sure there will be V35s getting round in the low 20's but most if not all of them are going to be the base model autos, so no leather, no bose, no tv screen "even though it dosent work here it still looks cool" and no dual climate etc not sure about the air bags and ESP im glad mine came over with most of the options checked including the wood grain lol, but i still thank the previous owner for the full nismo zhust system, nismo 280km dash, and a decent set of 19" rims
  10. make sure you have traction controll off cus if its on and there is the smallest amount of wheel spin then your launch is going to be slow and suck
  11. 7000rpm launches with slicks on, flat changes etc
  12. Nice 7kw @ the wheels is a good gain for such a basic mod on a NA engine look foward to picking one up for my car when I have some spare cash to splash... got to build a new home computer 1st
  13. So how about those dyno results?
  14. considoring where the cats are located on the V35 i doubt any cop would be able to tell if you had them in or not... however a polution test would catch you with your pants down
  15. So what are the results?
  16. looks ok, but a bit too much maxima in the rear end.... 300hp + FWD = FTL
  17. the 300z looks ok but only cus of the wide body kit as for the soarer it just didint fit the lines of the car
  18. um ill guess 4 rwkw... but as per skunks dynos youll mostly gain more power up top rather than the graph tapering off
  19. Fark! glad my car came with the whole system allready fitted! good zhust system makes a nice note above 3000 rpm and not droney on the hwy
  20. iv got them on my car 2, looks like everyone has them then. However it seems like a good thing though as I can see a couple or spots that look like they have had a few stones thrown their way and the sticker has done its job and saved the paint and taken the impact. Silver paint FTW dosent stand out that much when the car is clean
  21. I'v allways done my own oil changes on all of my cars since I was 16, this includes the V35 which I just did the other day. However with the V35 being somewhat of a more modern car compared to my old ones I think ill get Nissan to do a service on it next time its due just so they chan check over everything. Mind you Im worried about the responce im going to get when I bring them a V35 to service since I doubt they have ever seen one in far north QLD
  22. Those would look so porn on a white car
  23. Iv used wheel spacers on my old 180sx although that was only because my wheels were touching the R33 4 pot callipers. One thing to remember though using slip on spacers is going to place more load on the end of the wheel studs. Having said that I went to a few drift and sprint days without any issues. Its also a defect to have spacers as well
  24. well from what i could see you could probably do an oil change by just jacking up the car, because there is acess to the sump nut through the under tray, as well as there being a cut out section for the oil to drain out of. As for the wheel off method you could probably do this if you wanted to but you would have to push the under tray around a bit to get access to the filter not to mention the extra difficulty of trying to undo it if its on tight. I was happy enough to pull the under tray off so I could have a good look under the engine for any leaks or problems Car was pretty easy to jack up, took some hints from the guy who posted how to jack up the coupe on youtube basicaly just used the Nissan jack in the boot to jack the car up from the front left jacking point until i could get my floor jack under enough to start jacking the car up from the front jacking point in the middle. Then just jacked it up till i was happy and put jack stands down under the left and right front jacking point as insurance to stop me getting crushed if my main jack fails after taking the car for a quick spirited drive everything seems good I cant tell much difference but seems nice and responsive like it always has been. I’m just glad that its got fresh synthetic oil in it now as Iv got no idea how old or what kind of oil was in it before or even if it was changed when it came into australia.... considoring the jap filter on the car im thinking not
