Anyone ever hooked up nos to their V35/350z??? Compared to the cost of going to a TT kit or a SC kit why not just hook up a wet system? Anyone know what the safe limits are with std internals? surley a 50 shot system wont break anything?

Why not use a slip on spacer and see if the space saver fits?

Iv been using the key to unlock the door myself as of late, because my key seems to for some reason to require 3 to 5 presses before it will unlock or lock after that for some reason you only need to press it once.... might open up the key and give the contacts a clean

Sounds strange that your getting this vibration from the clutch pedel, I had a OS twin plate in my 180sx and it was noisy as when you pushed the clutch in. But i never had any vibration coming from the pedel pushed in or out even when it was shagged after some hard launches @ the drags with slicks on. Just a random stab in the dark but you may have one of these problems clutch is miss aligned hot spots on cluthc/flywheel weak slave cylinder cracked or busted gearbox mount cracked or busted engine mount Clutch Chatter: Clutch chatter, a vibration and/or noise when engaging the clutch, is likely to be caused by an internal clutch problem. A warped disc, hotspots on the flywheel or pressure plate surfaces, worn or dry input shaft splines, or worn release bearing.

Well i know that part, I had a friend who converted his auto CA18 sil to a Man, but was wondering with the V35 being somewhat of a more advanced car if it would be a super hass to do need box, slave cylinder, pedal, center consol. Would the Auto dash still work? I guess things like VDC would stop working unless there was an ECU swap or something As for going the other way man to auto... U planning on building the worlds 1st 10 sec drag V35

How hard is it to convert Auto to Man? im happy with the 5 speed Auto for my needs me just wondering

what was wrong with your front and rear bars? i could not see anything wrong with them from the previous pics u posted up

LOL i bought a V35 cus I was over spending heaps of $$$$ modding cars, in particular my old 180sx which pumped out 308rwkw Its sad but as others have said you will never get anywhere what you spent on the car back I know this personaly from when I sold my 180, In a way this used to be good for us untill the government changed the import laws and brought in SEVS. You used to be able to import a car from japan that was modded off its tits for a bargin price without having to strip it down to stock, ah the good old days well for some of us.

Well if uncle Kevin finaly hooks me up with some cash for a change. I might do my bit for the local economy and get my front windows done. What tint did you use and its %, is it the same darkness as the back windows?

iv wondered about the privacy glass, can we get defected for it? i mean its pretty dark! i would be keen to do the windows as well but dont want to draw too much attention from the boys in blue

Nice move from the Lexus As much as i would have liked to get a 6 speed, the price difference wasent worth it for me since im not going to take my car to the track + my girl can only drive auto performance wise my 5 speed auto threw down 170rwkw and BLISTIC 6 speed threw down 177rwkw so much of a muchness

looks nice mate one thing thats allways bugged me is how the hand break is on the left side not the right side of the gear stick... must be that US left hand drive influence

just a wild guess but have you checked your engine mounts? often if one of them is cracked or broken you can get interesting noises from the engine bay depending on the load the car is under

Iv had the lexus comment 2, other people think its a new Z car or a 350z, iv also had a fool say it was a 2 door maxima.... There are only 3 or 4 V35 coupes in Townsville up here in far north QLD. Iv only seen 1 other one on the road, the other was @ a workshop looking fresh off the boat with no rego or plates and the other was on carsales.com I also laugh when people @ the lights ask me if its turbo

well from what i have read on forum is that as long as you change the oil in the box @ the right times you should be ok, mind you the oil is super expensive for a full trans flush. The other problem is that not many people know how to fix the CVT auto if something goes wrong

what is the stock rev limiter? on say a 03 coupe? mine seems to rev out to 7000 just fine even though the red line is 6500
