  1. Excellent! Easy to deal with and confident that everything will go smoothly, which it does. Highly recommended.

  2. Hi guys, I need a r33 series 1 afm (or another skyline afm that will plug straight in and work), in good condition and good working order as i believe mine has just about given up. Thanks
  3. no, nothing done to auto as yet. Thought about the MV auto shift kit but haven't ended up getting one.Replaced the older oil cooler with a slightly larger new item though.
  4. I'll add my car R33 S1 gts25t FMIC turbo back custom exhaust pod filter ebc (max setting 10-10.5 psi) safc II 181.3rwkw Will take it to WSID one day
  5. i agree. Your power curve is very erratic. The curve is what you'd expect from a std ecu. not a pfc. Put the boost down a little, an if the pfc is tuned properly then you will get more power, and more importantly a smooth power curve, hence a smoother and better power delivery which you will notice on the road. Also i feel it is too rich at 11.2:1. Try and get it closer to 12:1.
  6. i was wondering what are the signs of a auto transmission on its way out? Now i am aware that if its on its way out then it would rev high and not move anywhere, but are there any other symptoms?
  7. i installed an safc II not too long ago and i got considerable gains...was a faster all over the rev range and much more responsive due to better mid-range. However, of your a/f ratios are good then there is no need to get a safc. Also, i think my car has got a little slower (still faster than before safc, but not as fast as when safc was first tuned). I was wondering whether this would be because the timing has been changed by the ecu again, resulting in less power? .
  8. oh thank god, cheers guys
  9. i hope thats the case, but i have a feeling that the dent isnt there to in order to give clearance because i can tell you i dont remember it being there before...
  10. hey guys i think something has gone terribly wrong with my motor. (rb25det in r33gtst) On the plenum, there is a little dent on one of the cyliners (directly under the throttle cable), looks as if someone took a hammer and put a nice smooth dent in it. The pic shows what i mean... Now as i was driving home today, when coming onto boost it felt as if the engine stopped for a second as it stopped accelerating (i have a feeling something broke in that second) and then kept on going as if nothing happened. Have a possiby broken a piston or something? The engine isn't blowing any smoke out of the exhaust either... What do you guys think has happened here? I will try and post up a pic of the plenum asap Cheers
  11. thanks guys went with hitman and am very happy with the results...he knows his stuff and is a great bloke too...
  12. fair enough beer baron...maybe i shouldnt have put 'safc hitman' together etc as all i got was about 50 pages of for sale safc's, so i gave up and went this route
  13. automatic transmission jimbo, otherwise it would have been pfc. afr's are very rich so i thought why not fix that with the tax return money beer baron, now the reason why i put a thread about this on here is because maybe someone, or knows of someone, that had a problem when tuning (even though it would be unlikely as these workshops are of high quality) so better check all my bases first, just in case...
  14. thats is what i have already done beer baron... just getting some opinions on here as well...isn't that one resaon why these forums exist? When you open up one of the workshops you mentioned, i will go there, to get 'the best of both worlds'
  15. with me, my rear had too much negative camber only (toe was fine), but for the front the toe needed adjustment (camber wasn't too bad) my guess is on camber for the rear...proabably time for a camber kit as the std camber adjustment for the rear isn't a whole lot...
