R.I.P.:an SAU'er & their R34?
Fly_With_Sky replied to LTSJayce's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I also offer my condolences to those affected by this tragic accident. And to any people thinking that negatively about skylines are mistaken as this sort of thing can happen to anyone in ANY CAR if not driven safely. Value your own and the lifes of others as it is an ever so precious gift. Take care on the roads and drive safely. -
yeh the afr's were like 10.7 10.8 10.9 around that, so were fairly rich. The max boost i would want to run on stock turbo is 10-11psi so wont be running anymore.
-
thanks, and some more boost too
-
yeh still a stock ecu perhaps, but the guy that did the exhaust did the same system for a 32 GTR and the results were fantastic, so he did the same system to mine and i was very happy with the end product.

next time just wave and give them the thumbs up in order to acknowledge that they escorted you safely home in the early hours of the morning. Once coming home from sydney i had one follow me from kirawee to engadine. I was going 60 in the 70 zone, and 75 in the 90 and 100kmh zones. They were still on my tail the whole way and their headlights were rebounding right off my rear view mirror into my eyes.

hi guys, i just had an intercooler and electronic boost controller installed on my r33 this week and on friday she went on the dyno to get the mixtures right at the boost setting. So far the one and only boost setting (atm) is 8psi and the car made 215HP at the wheels. However, i arrived a little later  ,and they did another power run and we got 210.4 HP. I was happy at this result as it is relatively low boost on an AUTO R33 (93 model) Gts25t. I will be going back soon and we will boost it to around 10-11psi as that would be the max i would probably want to go with stock turbo and see if i can get around 230HP. Then take her to WSID :aroused: The mods on her are: - Greddy v-spl intercooler kit - blitz dual sbc spec s - k&n pod filter (need to box it up so it doesnt such hot air) - custom 3.5 inch exhaust with 4inch dump pipe with a twin 3inch hi flow cat setup the cosmetic add ons are side skirts and rear pods, GTR front bar, lowered kmac springs, 18inch rims and my boom boom system my dyno graph had a little dip in it at around 150kph but was overall was a fairly good curve. What you guys think? sorry, i should also add that me mechanic said that the drop was due to a stutter and suggested that i get the spitfire coilpack to fix the probelm for good. However i probably jsut do the easy thing and gap the sparkies to 0.8mm as its still at the standard gap.

we all look extra hard for them in order to post it up on here , so we are bound to spot them driving around somwhere sooner or later :boinkcar:

NENGUN Performance - Need to Contact.
Fly_With_Sky replied to GZ R33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I say keep up the good work brent, you make lots of people happy by getting people their parts at great prices (and sometimes go out of you way to do so), if some people arent patient and like to complain to others before consulting you then its their loss -

Fly_With_Sky replied to GZ R33's topic in General Automotive Discussion

oh brother, the lighthouse happy laps. I dont think ive been out on a sunday this year to the lighthouse. Ive never seen people with camcorders there filming though except on australia day last year. Do many people still go there? Living in wollongong i guess i could just check for myself next sunday, but im too LAZY one thing i rememer the last time i was there was a r32 gtr killing it around the s bends coming up to the lighthouse. I couldnt believe how fast the fool was going. i remember thinking it would serve this guy right to either: (i) lose it and miss everyone and fly into the ocean, but then i came to my senses and thought what a waste of a r32 gtr, so thought (ii) c'mon cops where are you and(iii) i couldnt help but admire the handling of the gtr whilst thinking u fool

R33 GTST FMIC question...
Fly_With_Sky replied to maxkhor's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
well if you look at the japanese brands (one would assume that they know what the best type of cooler would be for an r33gtst) most of them are around the 600x300x76ish zone. ive got a greedy vspl intercooler which suits an r33gtst. Have a look on www.nengen.com and there are a range of intercooler applications for an r33gtst -
Get Your Car in the NEXT Series of FAT PIZZA!
Fly_With_Sky replied to Oosh's topic in New South Wales
il film your car in my own movie just bring it down to my place. Remember il need some in car shots when you give it a squirt :boinkcar: oh and has anyone seen the video clip to the song 'We Gon Ride' by dei hamo or something like that. I saw it on club v the other day and i swear i saw a r34 gtr on it, then there were numerous other cars on it as well... -
i would of thought that if an auto car has a tiptronic option then you should be able to change driving styles as you wish. but i would think that it would be causing extra strain on the gearbox when you keep on changing styles. Maybe best thing to do is choose to stay in Drive or just keep it in tipronic mode and not change constantly...maybe ask a nissan dealer some time and see thier opinon

im just curious the xr6t is 1650-1700kg and the xr8 is 1800kg or something whereas the commodore ss and clubby's are around 1650-1700kg right. What is making the fords heavier than the holdens. A bit of weight reduction will get it 0-100km/h claimed time bragging rights over holden as the 0-100 time is always being mentioned when talking about power of the car

NEVER!!!!!!

thanks for the info Rezz now as for that joint design team, they should be all fired asap. Granted that the front end is an improvement over the v35 and v36 design IMO, butt (excuse the pun), what the hell is that rear end??? I'll tell you exactly what it is, it is a big fat ugly arse. I could live with the front end as its not too bad but the back YUK!! what is good is the pumping out of the rear panels above the 20inch rims of big fat tyres However, in short summary of the look of the car, its not GTR material. It needs to be improved. What is the reaction over there in japan, are people happy or is there intense rioting from GTR fans :hellpisd: The technological aspect is a winner with me, and have never doubted Nissan to fail in that regard. Its just the bloody styling of Nissan these bloody (coung Ghosn cough) days that is all wrong. Fair enough to try and bring luxury type styling to pulsars and maximas but for pete's sake, this is the GTR!!!!

when i put my full exhaust (custom) on my 33 it immediately felt as if there was a great deal more off boost torque due to better way better flow and when boost came on it was harder and faster allowing for very nice acceleration. Sorry cant get you any before and after actual dyno results concering the exhaust change

hey fellas, just interested in others opinions about the release of the F6 Typhoon. Reading the article in the Daily Telegraph drive section today was a good read. I am really excited that ford are now using turbos as part of their performance car line up and are admitting that it is faster than the falcon GT. Also, what is with the comments made from the holden guy. Is it a eight, six or supercharged. Um no sorry mate its turbocharged and yes turbo cars are high performance cars as well, its not onyl a v8 category. I am happy that ford are acknowledging what we all know here, which is that turbo cars can easily match it with the V8's. i just got the impression that the holden guy was implying that v8's are what people want here as performance cars, which isnt a true representation. However if you just bought an xr6t for 46k and took it to croydon and put in those aps kits then it would be making more power and be quicker than the 58k priced F6? Just a thought... And those gauges the F6 has on top of the centre dash piece, are they built into the dash or what because i thought it was defectable when you do that on other cars, or is it ok since it is like that from factory?
