  1. i am in the same boat as you LTSJayce as i paid for a couple things from nengun about 7 weeks ago. One has already been delivered and i am syill waiting for the other to arrive. i also heard that there were some public holidays over there so i assumed it would take a little longer. There is no harm in asking the delay though and brent is always willing to reply to any questions you ask from my expierence.
  2. if youve now got your plugs at a smaller gap my only conclusion is that you are hitting boost cut. this leaves you with a few options 1. buy a fuel cut defender 2. buy and aftermarket ecu 3. put the thing on a dyno and find out whats wrong and then go from there

  4. as was said the back side of the bar needs to be trimmed a little for the thing to fit, but the front should be fine. it should show you what needs to be done in the instruction booklet for and r33 i/c kit such as taking off the stock cooler and trimming what needs to be trimmed and so on and so forth. i have a greedy v-spl and that kit is only for midly modded cars so it (or a similar kit) would be ideal for you i suppose. dimensions are 600x276x76 Also, with a gtr style front bar such as the ones from UAS, it wouldnt need to be trimmed on the backside for the above cooler to fit would it?? i thought the std gtr coolers were about the same size so it should be ok right?
  5. this is horrible. were the plates on the lancer identified. was the idiot trying to steal the car or what or is it a case of being involved with the wrong crowd and having an enemy? how did this incident occur, was there a crash? or is it hust plain and simple assualt with a weapon? hope the punk is caught good luck in fixing the car, but isnt it true that the rear windshield is fairly expensive since it has the dimister lines on it?? and i am also sure any glass place can make them or just take it to a panel beater
  6. i believe this topic has been covered before so feel free to search... besides from memory doesnt the hks valve you are referring to have two valve thingis (a smaller one and a larger one that only opens under heavy boost). I also read somwhere that these do flutter under light load so it is normal.

  8. like it has been said before 33 are only being called common because you notice them a lot more than other cars. if your purpose in buying a car is so it not common in your eyes buy a Maybach (speeling?) for a cool million dollars. but my opinion is go the 34 as it a newer car and it shape really does look lovely imo with its sharper more aggressive lines compared to the 33 with its more subtle smooth sexy type lines
  9. what gets to me is the holdens (and fords as the xr models have those big fog lights now, but i only see this done by holden drivers especially vt-vx and people with 4wd's) is the bolldy idiots driving around with driving lights and the fog lights on when it still sunny and bright enough. i just cant understand why they cant see properly. Also a few 4wds do it as well and when they are following you right on your arse their lights are blinding... thats my little rant
  10. i read somwhere or am remembering hearing from somewhere that an auto r33 is 0.6 seconds slower than the manual r33 over the quarter. So that will place it at 15 flat i suppose. although i have seen a stock auto r33 (filter is the only mod) do 14.6 down the quarter.
  11. r33 autos are fairly quick (quicker than many would probably expect) myslef and a manual mr2 turbo were neck and neck over the quarter and both were stock. considering the mr2 is fairly lighter, it goes to show that auto r33 shouldnt be laughed at straight away. but the preferred choice is manual as you can do more with them and once you learn the ideal shifs and how to do these shifts well, the manual really shows its superiority. you just have to get what is the most efficient choice for you...

  13. yes for 1500 you could get a nice cooler from nengun. i got the a greedy vspl (600x276x76)and the cooler was actually only about 900 with a couple hundred for shipping. only bad thing was everything was in japanese... check www.nengun.com out and see what u like. i dont think you would need to go any thicker than 76mm as well...
  14. when i got the exhuast done on mine with the dumpy it whistled and then when the pod went on you could really hear loud sucking and you could still hear the sucking although not as loud when in vacuum... i would think its normal, if your worried go get the car checked out to ease your worries

  16. remember insurance will be a bit so take that into account as well... which s14? series 1 or 2? as the s2 are not bad as is a nice r32. shop around and get what u like and is affordable as well
  17. mine is black and yes it does have that nasty habbit of getting dirty a little quicker than u would like, but i love it being black as looks noce n slik. If i were to go a lighter colour it would have to be that nice blue colour like the one i seen on a r34 gtr not too long ago, my jaw hit the ground :wassup:, so just need to get a little closer to 25 yrs old and save up enough for one just like it :aroused: but in the meantime the gtst is all i need
  18. how many k's? is it bone stock? i would think for a well looked after clean gts4 17k would be just about fair game... it is a 93 model too, and 93 r33's go for about that. Do some wheeling and dealing if you are going to buy it to bring it down a little bit...
  19. how can that be when the nsw govt said they will have a draft paper with all the options by next month or something. besides it still has to be written and passed. So this curfew will never be final until they actually draft a bill and pass it...
  20. Skylines are a piece of shit. Just a plain looking car that looks like a sedan. It's just a sedan with a better motor in it. ummmm, thats because it was built on a sedan platform. Even the new maxima looks more sporty than a skyline. i wouldnt go that far... So many people think, oh, skylines are the king. They drive alright, but not the best either. Anyone ever driven a 350z in stock form? let alone with new susp setup? it'd kill a skyline anyday in the bendies. And need i remind you, that it is also capable of putting out more power too with the extra 1L displacement. All in all, it's a better car. Much more modern, looks modern, drives modern. well the skylines have built a reputation that is simply excellent over its lifetime so i cant see how you can justify that it is shit. The gtr's got the name godzilla for a reason... furthermore about killing skyline in bends, hmm i would have to see it first as i dont think there is a car faster out of the bends than a gtr. Besides the 350z are new cars so with newer technology i can see why it would impress you more so than driving a used car such as the skyline. And with power output well everyone can make their minds up there... however, in no way am i saying the 350z is bad as it is a great car and i like them, but i am simply trying to get across to you that the skyline deserves more than to be called shit.
  21. and the 33 does weigh more but not shitloads more, and with the larger more powerful engine it makes up for it i reckon.
  22. the r32 rb20 would be working a little harder then the rb25 in the r33 to get 250 at the treads as its a smaller capacity engine. id go for the r33 as it is newer and these days u can get a nice clean 33 for only a little bit more than the 32's
  23. furthermore with the 350z, after reading what 2GU UP 2 posted about the convertibles, i reckon that the non convertibles look a lot better and would prefer one if i got one but still think the convertibles are not too shabby
