  1. I got carried away in my post. The light was orange so it must of been engine , I saw it for a second and thought it looked different. I will check what you mentioned. I cleaned the aac and afm and made difference in performance and idle but there must be something else going on too. Thanks heaps
  2. I have an external wastegate that is venting to the atmosphere and i want to connect it to the exhaust. I don't know if I should connect before the o2 sensor of after as I was thinking of the affect it would have on fuel economy and performance. Also another issue I have is when I depress the clutch while driving the car stalls but only at a decent speed. One more thing is that my exhaust temp light goes on after a decent drive and a bit of a heavy foot and car goes into limp mode for a minute. Please help have had this car for 7 years and since power fc and wastegate just not enjoyable anymore Thanks
  3. Thanks for all the info i think i might give them a call tomorrow cause i have the tyres changed anyway.
  4. Just wanted a few opinions and if its happened to anyone else before i act on it. I received a defect notice last week in regards to worn tyres. I brought new tyres and had them changed yesterday. Today is my last day of the notice so i took the car to vicroads as specified on the letter and from the police at the time so i can get it checked and removed. After having the vehicle inspected the vicroads inspector proceeded inside again so they can clear the defect. As they walked in they realised the registration number on the notice was incorrect, so they advised me to go and see the officer that issued the defect get him to issue a new one then bring it back. By the way i was caught an hour away from home, and it was hard enough, cancelled jobs to organise everything, but i deserved it for letting the tyres go. I dont think i should be inconvenienced any more though after i have done the right thing After getting upset with them and stating how i felt i explained that i obviously dont have a defect notice cause they have the wrong number plate told them ill remove it myself and left. Now i havnt removed it and im thinking of calling the police and explain about the mistake.Im not shaw if i should though cause that could lead to them getting the correct details and making me do all the above. Thanks
  5. I have used it a few times when passing shell on hoddle st, the car feels abit more responsive but i find i loose about 30 km out of the tank. BP ultimate for me.
  6. i went past yesterday 1.5 hour wait, drove straight out!!!
  7. I have 235 front and 265 rear and have no problem with understeer especialy after the teins went on. The wider tyres help with take off and oversteer
  8. Have had the same noise for 3 years now since i got the Xtreme clutch put in. You get use to it after a while and since the exhaust i dont hear it that often. Clutch is still strong though. Ive heard it on a few aftermarket clutches.

    whos mum???

My friends mum owns a burgandy skyline as described above and lives around the areas mentioned and her dad has a silver r33 as well. Looks quiet funny but i wish my mum had a GTR.
  12. I have been running 14psi everyday for a year on my r33 except in the wet it goes down to 7 and acording to this thread it looks like i will be needing a new turbo soon cause my intercooler is stock. 10psi sounds safe to me!!
  13. I had that problem for 4 months i had gone through everything( car is stock boosted to 13psi) and we eventualy found it was a spark plug.
  14. Tried drifting my front wheel drive calibra in the wet a few years ago ended up scraping a trafic light and then straight on to the road bars, thats when i decided i had to buy a skyline. Lucky insurance covered the $9500 damage. Road was very poor quality so i guess after all it wasnt all my fault!!
