BOOSTMEISTER is correct in that external wategates do make a nice fluttering sound, but it's not neccessary. The Yellow S14 off BM Vol 6 actually has a standard turbo. (From memory, been a while since I've seen the video). So no external gate there. My car is equipped with a Blitz BOV (older version) and is plumbed back. The car makes a very similar noise as you hear from the S14.

rev, Where are you getting the knock sensor read out? Doesn't the ECU ignore the knock sensor above a certain rpm? (exact rpm cut off is load dependant)

Findings from a trusted source differ to that in that link posted above. I've got a 975 mounted internally in my car. Begin Cut and Paste The big daddy Bosch Motorsport pump is part numbered 0 580 254 044, it can flow 330L/hr @ 73.5psi and price is $550.95 The last 3 digits will be different for other Bosch pumps. 975 is a 228L/hr flow @ 73.5PSI at $340.95. 984 is the same as 975 just that the fittings are slightly smaller. 040 is 235L/hr flow @ 73.5psi and it comes with a screen for in tank operation and is priced at $359.95. 910 is 200L/hr flow @ 73.5psi at $229.95. I know that although the 975 doesn't say its a in tank pump, it can be mounted internal or external to the tank, maybe all the other Bosch pumps can be mounted internal or external also. It's quite obvious that a standard GTi-R is quicker than a standard GTS-t. I don't need to re-enforce that. And about this mods thing. That's the entire point. Everyone here bought their cars to make it quicker (well maybe a large proportion - not everyone can afford more mods) And all you seem to do is paint your interior blue. Btw: I don't know about you, but I consider it significant that a GTi-R can out quick a GTR. Considering it's a smaller/less powerful car from factory. Kinda like a Datto 1600 running low 12's all days. That's a freaking acheivment. Does that mean this Datto can't go on about beating a stock GTR? P.S I might see you at that dyno day.
