First whore for Sunday!!!! Great event yesterday, thanks to all who attended. Sorry that Josh couldn't get it up...... the ramp to run his Luxo-barge. Funny to watch it jacked up in the air just to get it out!!

The clippers were on display at the SAU Dyno Day and several wannabe's turned up to see if any reflected attraction could raise their value against the small, rusty, burnt clippers purportedly for sale by Josh. While Josh's disappointment at not being able to run his luxo-barge on the dyno was devastating, the clippers held their own against a withering barrage of larger, fulli-sic chrome toe-nail clippers looking to move in on his territory of finger nail only brilliance!! If anything, this war has only increased the value of these clippers 2-fold!!

Noel, this was some mis-information that started to circulate on the day. I may have been a part of that as I didn't understand the jargon. I was told afterwards that the dyno was calibrated after being moved some 8 days ago. This is done by the manufacturer and is spot on. The first five cars on the dyno had what the owners thought were low readings. Turned out they were accurate, just that some needed some TLC to go fast! My car went on second last and put out a figure that I expected due to a clogged fuel rail/injectors. The Dyno Logic is always going to read lower figures than a Dyno Dynamic in "shootout" mode. I dislike the shootout mode as it inflates figures. My experience is that my car which runs consistent 206rwkw on Allstar's dyno, gets a figure of 237rwkw on another dyno running shootout mode. It all depends on where you get your car tuned. I am extremely happy with the work Allstar does on my car and sticking with the one dyno ensures consistency.

Newcastle sux ass!! I had to live there for 8 months and it was bogan central!! It has changed a bit since then, but the bogan part is the same. It is like Summernats only every night!! If you won't do fuli sic skids for them, they will pelt your car with bottles (some not empty!!) I think you should stay where you are happiest, and if Brisbane fulfills your needs with friends and job, why move. This whole moving to further your career gambit is why so many people are unhappy or divorced. I personally love Brisbane and I have lived in Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle for work. Unless it is going to make you a millionaire, I would stay put.

Just so there is no confusion, the pdf file for the running sheets has the old address on it. Allstar Tuning is on Delta Street in Geebung now (recent move) - edit: Address has been updated on first post Can everyone who is running please download and print the running sheet and have it filled out on the day so I can come around and add a number to your windscreen and running sheet. This is to speed up the process and make it easier for Richo to marry up cars with their details so the Dyno readouts can be processed quicker. Thanks.

I get 425kms out of the 55 litre tank. Mine is on 12 pound of boost and like you I only give it a bit now and then. Like most 33's, the more mods you do, the more fuel it uses. I would definitely buy private and take one of the brainiacs from this forum with you. One of the benefits of joining the club is the vast experience that is available for free. There are always 33's on here for sale with varying levels of mods. I've never had a major problem with my car, just the usual stuff on a 10 year old vehicle. Radiator needed replacing, 100k belt replacement, that kind of stuff. Just service it regularly and use a reputable shop.
