  1. How do these fit the existing pedals? and do you have all the screw etc...notice one was missing in the photo. Interested to talk if there in good nick. Cheers Dave
  2. Hi people, Got myself a set of second hand semi slicks. New PB times set in Dec 04 Qld Raceway: Sprint circuit - 1.01.7 Clubman circuit - 1.03.3
  3. My experience has been that it’s easy to put the biggest of everything on a car to get the max HP for one or two runs. Long term reliability, usability on the track and getting the perfect tune up is another matter (butcher vs. surgeon). I'm glad they did a good job on yours because mine was a 5week disaster that was just pathetic. Had it not been re-tuned (basically as soon as I got it back) they would have destroyed the engine. Anyway it may have been a one off but I doubt it.
  4. Mate, Doing those KMs you want a set dedicated for the track (semi slicks) and a good quality street set! Otherwise you'll literally burn the money. Semis get chewed up pretty bad on the street as well!
  5. Hi there, My R33 GTST had the green TEIN coilovers when I bought it. My mechanic adjusted the minor spring as it was set so tight it was useless (basically behaved like a go cart). Since the adjustment the ride has bee great and on the circuit have got much better traction out of the corners. Have been experimenting with hts etc which is interesting. Ride may be to hard for some but why else get a skyline!
  6. Advanced Performance Centre (Nick) in Underwood does good work. One of the rare mechanicas that can actually use the Dyno. DO NOT TRUST SUBZERO bunch of amatuers. Almost wrecked my car.
  7. I had a guy on a construction site warn me when he saw my car about 6mths ago. The ute tailed him on a motorbike and got him inexcess of 200km/hr and passed him with a video camera when he wouldn't pull over. They later paid him a visit at home. So there out there and they'll egg you on to get the results they want. Video was played in court!!! Same happened to my mate wife in their porsche... except she just thought it was hoons and didn't bite - got puulled over any way...
  8. Hi there, I have a set of 16 x 7.5inch magnesium Mazda rims in excellent condition for sale. If you know any one who’d be interested please contact me on 0414-2321497. Available until 19/12/05 $450 for the set.. Photos available of course. Will fit Skylines rear but not front. Would be excellent drifting rims!! Cheers David
  9. That would be great Nizchic ... I'm in desperate need
  10. sorry Nizchic I was running street tyres all round....I need to invest in semi slicks if I want to get the time down. Thinking about a std set of rims 16" with 205 Bridgestone Potenzas. Anyone got any sugestions where I'd get a set of std rims??
  11. Has any one found out this info as I MAY need front LHS replaced. You can feel slight movement when you shake the tyre - GTST Series 2 1996
  12. Probablly just stating the obvious, but I found my oil temps went down using Penrite Syth 5 oil ... $90/5l
  13. SkylineGeoff, stealth times 63 & 64 sec I dont know if I'm just getting used to it but I find the track a good run...definitely not smooth, put it that way

  16. Keep me on the list as I'd be interested...just need to sort the work thing out [email protected] Thks David
  17. I have recently installed Yoko AVS to my GTST - reason that these were the closest spec rubber to a semi-slick however should still get around 30000km instead of 10-15k with semis. They also have a solid tread pattern which flexes less on the track - 235 45 17 & 255 40 17 cost around $370/tyre. I use everyday for business but aso get to the track every six weeks or so. Did have falken azenis which I found to be shitful in the wet. I very happy with the results especially in the wet - but really need a dedicated track trye for the track
  18. I have Yokohoma AVS 235 45 17s front and 255 40 17's rear - tyre shop advised 36psi at front and 38psi at rear. Went to the track last week and highest pressure was 45psi . The guy in charge said a tyre should not vary more than 4psi between cold & hot temp, hence the high track psi.
  19. I though this may be the case except all the fuses are written in japanese. Have you any idea where this fuse is located Cheers
  20. Hoping someone knows the ans to this one...I changed the front low beam lights to a white bulb and ever since the speedo, tacho etc panel lights do not work. I was at the drags for the first time last night and with out the light it was a real struggle...used the shift light and kept the int map light on...really sus.
  21. APC in Brisbane have an awesome dump/turbo pipe - I would nave installed this had I known about it. I got ripped by Subzero who put a ss dump pipe ($270) and once fitted said I needed a front pipe (they originally said I had a custom 3" front but when I measured it I found it was only 2"), quoted $170 and then hit me up for $310 (after it was fitted) because they miss quoted - bad business manners! Talk to Nick at APC he knows his stuff www.apc_racing.com.au web site is www.apc-racing.com :headspin:
  22. Christian, My insurance is coming up so I'd be very interesting in getting a quote - I'm currently with Just Cars. I was with Suncorp but new car had way to many mods. Regards, David
