  3. thanks everyone. raybrig have discontinued their 6000's so i think i will get the 5500..
  4. sleepyRN your car looks great i love the URAS lip.
  5. just my thoughts..if you dont have much cash to spend-keep the car standard and enjoy, use the money on keeping the car running well. from my experience,if you are going to do something, do it properly. if you really want to go down that path, i have had good experience with Magill Bridgestone and North Terrace Tyres, also Sinergy have a lot of experience with V35s and suspension installs.
  6. glad to hear no one was hurt! that's the most important thing. sad though, that was a really beautiful GTR.
  7. i find out about this event the day it finishes. typical.
  8. such a shame there is not one single 1/4mile off-street venue in the WHOLE OF SA ! ridiculous for a million+ population city. i will be keeping an eye on this would love to try my car out an a zero-yon wonder what it'll do?
  9. thanks guys! just gotta decide 5500k or 6000k, probably will go 6000..
  10. my V35 has standard HID headlights, just wondering if i want to replace the bulbs with raybrig 5500k or 6000k HID's, does the ballast need changing or is it just a streight easy bulb replacement?
  11. ah thanks. so you went the quaife option. looks like u had a few issues fitting etc. i think the nismo gt pro carbon lsd might be the one for me http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/competition/lsd/gt_lsdprocarbon.html although it is 2-way, nismo claim it is a very 'streetable' lsd, good for street and grip circuit driving.time to get some prices.
  12. none of it is in english. you can work out all the specs since tech terms are international pictures are of the exact magazines, from amazon jp and lindbergh co bookshop in japan.
  13. i have a couple of japanese magazines/mooks for sale, used but in as-new condition. located in SA, prefer local sale *Nissan Skyline GTR Street Perfect Tuning $20 *Nissan Skyline GTR HyperRev No.7 http://shop.lindbergh.co.jp/cgi-bin/e/shop_more.cgi?code=10801 $20 PM if you are interested sz
  14. yup read the other threads on LSD's couldnt find anything V35 specific though, relating to VCD. I assume shouldnt have any issues though, and the three i mentioned seem to be most popular with z33 tuners in jp for street and circuit.
  15. thanks guys. wheels are WedsSport SA67R's. night crawler-ive been to a few trackdays, both open practice days and jb advanced driver training.don't think I've met you though.previous car was a light-tuned championship white integra type-r.
  16. just wondering if any v35 owners here have swapped their diff's for an aftermarket one? and if so, any advice/recommendations? my 6mt has the factory LSD with VCD, wondering if there would be any compatability issues with an aftermarket 1.5way (nismo, cusco rs, ats&across etc)? i'm still getting to know my car and will need to do a few track days to get to know its behaviour before deciding if i want to install an aftermarket LSD, but i have seen several demo z33's/v35's with this mod.
