  1. Surprised someone would pick 595 RSR over NT01 for track use... btw, pretty certain the NT01 is street legal here in Australia http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/blog/the-nitto-nt-performance-and-invo-tyre-range/ and a few other articles mention the same. Agreed with the RS3 Z221. One of the best Semi. Even if you go one step down, the RS3 Z222 is one of the best bang for buck. Curious, has anyone tried the new 595 RS-RR? (Not the 595 RSR) I have been wondering how they perform because they are dirt cheap...
  2. 2001 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec II. All V-Spec II came standard with the carbon fiber hood and NACA duct. Owner: Adix Wong My car history: It was owned by a baseball player and modified by Top Secret in Japan. Then imported by a dealer in 2008 and went through a few skyline enthusiasts around Australia. I believe I am now the 4th owner here in Australia. It came with a long list of modifications (including conversion to a single turbo by previous owner) and I have enhanced it even better by upgrading to a true 3.5" custom catback exhaust by Performance Exhaust Centre; DBA 5000 T3 2-pieces front rotors; Twin fuel pumps; and tuned for more reliable power by Unigroup Engineering. Making 440KW (590HP) at the wheels. Hey you might have more chances finding them on facebook e.g. GTR parts or skyline parts for sale group etc. I've seen 2 sets for sale in the last 2 or 3 weeks. (one set for 1.2k, another set for 1.5k, both with tyres I think) https://www.facebook.com/groups/Theofficialgtrpartsforsalewantedpage/permalink/577011812451375/ Sorry if I can't post facebook link here.

  7. NRMAVVC even told me that its an AVERAGE of 10 times a month - so you could be doing over 10 times this month, and none in the next month. As long as it comes out as an average of 10/month. I didn't ask how NRMAVVC keep track of it or get it proved. However, I was with Lumley Special Vehicle before and they are using the same policy and LSV said to me if you make a claim, they will then try track it down e.g. asking your neighbours etc. Very vague. p.s. I've been trying to keep a good relationship with my neighbours My premium increased $50/year after bringing up agreed value from 75k to 80k. Worth. Best to ask for a quote.
  8. $1050 is pretty good imo. I think the nrma vintage has now erased the km per year restrictions? It is now something like 10 times usage per month instead.

  13. That was absolutely helpful. Oh! Thanks for the link/article!
  14. Sorry for being noob! Is this a mounting plate for the coil packs? Interested at this as I am having very random low rev/low boost misfiring at times.
  15. Hey all, so just wanna get some opinions re coilpacks and harness/loom for R34 GTR. Currently have Splitfire and will probably get Splitfire again. But just want to know if anyone tried Yellow Jacket ( https://www.performance-wise.com.au/yellow-jackets-coils/nissan-coil-packs/yellow-jackets-coil-packs--complete-set----nissan---yj-rb2526-s2.html )? For harness/loom, anyone tried Wiring Specialist ( https://www.performance-wise.com.au/wiring-specialties/coil-pack-harnesses/wiring-specialties-coil-pack-harness-loom---skyline-r34-gtr-rb26dett.html ) ORDo-Luck ( http://www.rhdjapan.com/do-luck-enhanced-ignition-harness-kit-nissan-skyline-gt-r.html?___SID=U ) ? Thanks in advance everyone!
  16. I am also looking at these HPI towing belt and wondering how do you install them... rhdjapan says these are "Only for vehicles with the OEM U-shape Tow Hook".
  17. One year so far, but mine is a weekender + I keep my car in garage + wash regularly.
  18. I don't think theres an online option for that. I've sent them the mod list via Email. They will then save the whole list under your profile/policy in their own system. (Call up to let them know/confirm the mod list is saved.)
  19. pretty much any screens will be able to display it. I also had the option of using the R34 MFD but I rather kept it stock. http://gaugeart.com/gaugeart-updates/gaugeart-in-r34-skyline/ Not sure if PFC can display it, need to check which ECU is compatible on their website.
  20. Alpine unit SOLD! Its called GaugeArt, applies to a few aftermarket ECU. Mine is a haltech, http://www.haltech.com/new-product-gaugeart-can-to-vga-adapter/ easy to setup, one plug to haltech ECU, another plug straight to display (if VGA or HDMI) otherwise to a AUX converter and AUX goes to display unit. Interface is customised on http://haltech.gaugedesigner.com/
