Hey Terry, it really depends on the quality, I think the normal wood ones would cost similar and the good ones shoot up in prices. This alu one costed me $110 alone and I also paid extra for the case and delivery.

Thanks for the reply! hmm with the peak hold function, you can look back and see what the highest boost was after a run. (the gauge holds the peak record of the boost) does it only work for the boost? or both boost and afr?

Hows the SCG-1 unit going? Also does the peak hold function holds both max afr and boost readings at the same time? I am quite interested in getting this as I want an afr gauge, an electronic boost controller and a better boost gauge. (R34 MFD is only displaying the boost in kpa/bar and only up to 2 bar) But I actually have a haltech platinum pro ecu and can probably just wired up some gauges to display the info without extra sensors... so I just wanna see if its worth it haha.

thanks guys! are those 3 pins connected to some wires or the chip? cause when you say resolder that 3 pins. what are you actually doing to it? heat them up so they can connect back to the wires/chip or? p.s. sorry... real beginner here.

Sorry, I have no knowledge in soldering, by "solder the three pins (at the top of pic)..." what do you mean by that?

Sorry for digging old post, my boost gauge on the MFD is working sometimes, usually doesnt work when it first starts up, then starts working after 10 or so mins, sometimes it disappear and comes alive again. Would it be the same case e.g. boost hose and/or boost sensor issues? Cheers
