ah i see damn, il do some research what if i were to get ahold of a xanavi dvd rom, is it jus a extension of the existing car computer therefor if i get the wiring loom it would be just a matter of plugging it in ?

yeh it does have the dvd rom in the glove box its a clarion one

but is there anyway of connecting a touch screen or this screen to the existing car computer and bring up the xanavi menu with the compass altitude, fuel comsumption, service info etc etc there is already a keypad with 3 buttons for navigating

yeh i don't mind it either jus that I've got no trip meter or fuel economy. it would be good if i could connect it up with the screen some how. il pull it off see if it has a make or part number on it does look good.

]hi guys just want to know whether this is a standard screen and if i can get car pc ( i.e. trip computer, fuel usage) throughout it, it only has a tv on off button on the left of the gear shifter and three buttons on the other side that are in japanese and when pressed turns the screen and cameras on and off. the car has front cameras and a rear which automatically come on but apart from that is screen always black. hopefully you can help. cheers

thinking it might be a costly exercise, it does has a after market fixed screen with the tv tuner and dvd player from japan but it doesn't have the car pc part which is really the only thing i want hope fully there is something i can do. cheers

does anyone know if you can get the pop up screen navigation dash, dvd rom, wiring loom and fit it to a stagea that didn't come out with a screen ? I'm mainly after the fuel usage and the rest of that stuff ?
