  3. some engine bay shots and the way the car looks currently the new ducting behind intercooler infront of radiator, can see the side piece sealing up witht he bottom piece, 12 days until a mini comp and time attack day car is ready looking forward to it,

  5. well round 2 has been and gone, had heaps of fun didn't really focus on the competition part, quallied 11th due to all the broken cars there was only a top 16, my first battle came up against matt russel , I lost, but had so much fun battling some one of his level and just watching him chase me in the mirror was awesome, plans for the car are some ducting around the radiator behind the intercooler to try keep it cool, constant laps witout stopping cause it to hit 100+ degrees, buy some new front steer tyres and get it ready for the time attack and drift battle event in mid june, heres the official round 2 video il post mine when I upload it, and if anyone is intrested in seeing my engine bay its in the video in the opening flashes, https://vimeo.com/65643760
  6. well a few things have happened, got my rotas at round 1, which I scratched to shit at symmons, bought a car trailer and a set of r33 gtr wheels, went to the symmons practice day before round 2 in 5 weeks, loved it https://vimeo.com/63110944 photos to come soon

  8. well round 1 of the tasmanian drift series has been run, i qualified 12th (highest ever) and battle through to the top 8, i beleive i finished 7th which i was not expecting as i had never won a battle, so it was an awesome day and cant wait for symmonds now, car ran faultlessly and the conversion is doing exactly the reason we put it in the car, http://vimeo.com/60532611 the video i took through the day, will post some engine bay pics and new front wheel pics

  11. i made it to the practice day, had so much fun and loved the new found power heres a couple of pics of broken shit, and a vid of a few runs, broken d1r ended my day early as i dont have spare wheels the right offset for the front, hopefully i can get the rear mesh wheel fixxed, 1jz is so much better running 14psi on stock computer and loving it, https://vimeo.com/59327070
  12. didnt want a highmount for a few reasons, fits so much better than the rb, couldnt beleive how awesome it fits feb 9th its suppose to be going, i reckon il get it going by then
  13. haha yeah, alsomy mate only had a mig so its only tacked up, taking it to my old mans work to be tig'd up and im putting a flex pipe in to save it, haha that plus my 38mm gate, it will be the best daily to work at 7am
  14. exhaust pics with the cross over pipe i was talking about, the mount on dump pipe goes to bottom empty bolt hole in r155 gearbox, sits no lower than subframe/sump on the cross over pipe
  15. yeah full new custom 3inch exhuast straight through was made today will post pics tomorrow car goes back to martins on tuesday night for hookup of wiring and all fuel, water, oil lines might somehow get it going maybe before practice day

  17. well alot has happened tailshaft made, mounts remade as we wanted the engine further back, power steering line being made, the plan is to drop the engine in tomorrow night only pic i have taken not on my phone,

  19. the engine and gearbox mounts have been made and with the mounts the mx83 tailshaft i got purly just for the yoke is now the exactl length of the r32 to diff and even the centre bearings line up with a bit of elongating, all that has to be done is get r32 diff uni put on mx83 tailshaft to keep diff changes normal, stock 1jz twin manifolds to big single manifold peice has been made and looks wicked, got a shopping list of bits to grab tomorrow and drop of at martins, hopefully saturday a big day can be had and connect alot of things, no pics as iphone pics are shocking

  22. im quite suprised by the size of the 1jz in the engine bay actually, thought it would be tighter haha me either man, going to be LOUD
  23. dont need to touch the hedlight wiring, wiper motor plug gets cut out of rb20 loom and ran with new loom, im not doing the wiring, my mate manager of tmm (the workshop im using this week, is doing the patch loom, motor got dropped in tonight and taken out for mount measurements, lom like it was made for an r32 engine bay
  24. not heaps has happend, made and ran new clutch line, moved battery, wiring thats staying has been moved, old rb20 loom removed and made a head sheild for low mount turbo, dropped car off today at a mates workshop who sold me the 1jz, will be fitting it this week after hours and hopefully il get it back next weekend bolted in and wired up all that will be left will be exhasut, intercooler piping and tailshaft, have also sorted yoke for r155 ready to get measurments and take it to engineering palce,
