  1. Question - Is this the easiest way to replace my gearbox oil??? Place car on hoist, undo drain plug and drain all old oil. Put drain plug back in. Take out side plug, as to know when gearbox is full (oil will slowly come out that side whole when the box is full). Then either use a drill pump to replace oil through side plug on gearbox or take out gear shifter and fill box through that.
  2. I've got one dollar with Lepperfish - Anyone for $2??
  3. They're Enkei rims aren't they [ant]?? And as for the can connected to the bar on Yas' car, that the dryer/receiver for the air con - as you said ant, if the intercooler is being fitted, they air con needs to come out!
  4. All depends on what size front mount. Are you doing the pipework yourself?? If so, you can make it up as you go along.
  5. Remove the hub yourself and knock the broken one out with a hammer, then bang a new one in place!
  6. Like you've been told by a thousand other members, do a simple bonnet lift! Will cost you nothing so why not just give it a try??

Newcastle is a good place to live.... don't plan on moving from it for a while!
  8. [ant] - Cooler looks awesome. Did they use 3" intake side + 2.5" turbo side??? I also like the coke bottle radiator overflow bottle. What holes did they have to cut in the front of the car to allow cooler pipes to run through??
  9. Passenger side box could be for the oxygen sensor for the cat???
  10. What type of car is it??? Ad is it being imported under 15 year rule??
  11. LOL thanks Ant . I was only trying to help you out. Maybe try redrilling R32 rotors to 4 stud then fit them. I'm not sure if R32 4 Spot Calipers will bolt on, but if you are as handy as you say, then try it because they do bolt straight onto S13's. How much power does your car have??? Hopefully enough for you to need a brake upgrade!
  12. From any good import wreckers, $500 for a set of six is dirt cheap!
  13. R33 S2 1/2 cuts are extremely hard to find these days. For a undressed 1/2 cut without the front brakes, expect to pay at least $4800. Maybe try Adelaide Jap??
  14. sorry to jack the thread, but $850 is a bit steep for a private sale.....
  15. RX7 Series 4/5 - best bang for your bucks. What about 70 series Supra???
  16. Ring race brakes in Sydney. They charge about $1800 to convert the front brakes to 4 spot calipers + 330mm rotors.
  17. My car had bad rust in LHF so that is getting fixed and while its in it is getting majority of the bodywork mickey whisker. There was a few deeper scratches in the paint, and a small dent down the bottom of the LHR 1/4. I think that happened on its way over from Japan. I agree that the DR30 looks best in silver and black, a really good contrast! As for Anthony's R31, its the NICS RB20DET engine, but he's converting it to FJ20 power! I think you've got forgies, ECU and turbo also going on it don't you???
  18. Mine only needs a partial repray + the notorious "rust in the strut towers" fixed. $2000 to respray boot, roof, bonnet, guards, doors, LHR 1/4 + fix rust in boot & LHF Strut Tower! Yeah I'm still running standard turbo, but still undecided whether to spend any more money or not. Once I've got it all sorted I might get a T04E kit + Autronich Engine Management. Damm I wish money grew on trees!
  19. Ring Nam's Electronic Services in Marrickville. They convert overseas TV's to Australian. I think it generally costs around $900.
  20. These things are as hard to find as rocking horse shit!! You will be hard stretched to find one in Sydney. Maybe try Adelaide Jap or Rollin Imports??
  21. tough luck..... :hellpisd:
  22. The vents are good and will look great as well. Yes the rain will get in the engine bay, but no it shouldn't wreck anything, unless you are place a vent right above your pod filter, then yes in the rain, you will suck water into your intake. Where are the vents to be positioned on the bonnet??? Kind of like a Ford XR8??? Another cheap alternative to bonnet vents is a bonnet lift. The drop in temperature whilst the car is moving is quite substantial!
  23. ATM its in getting a respray, still a week and a half to go. Once thats done, I've got a DNA FMIC + Blitz BOV going on it. Once the Front Mount has been completed, I'm getting my rear seat retrimmed and bolstered into 2 seats rather than a bench, including material to match my R34 GTT front seats! How's about you???
