  1. any chance of it fitting an FJ20ET???
  2. A friend of mine just bought a ET Pulsar with a CA18DET conversion in it, but the factory gauge tacho doesnt work due to different ignition or coil. Does anyone know how to fix/wire in the CA wiring into a E15ET dash cluster??? Any thoughts would be apreciated!
  3. It's going to cost you at least $2500, even in your parents name and the insurance companies are cottoning onto this idea. Try Just Car insurance. Third Party insurance is usually around $600 - $700.
  4. With bigger discs, doesnt that mean you will need upgraded calipers as well because the overall disc size will be larger??
  5. Anyone know of an easy caliper upgrade for a R30 coupe?? Hopefully going to fit DBA slotted discs front + rear but just wondering if anyone has successfully adapted or bolted on any bigger calipers???
  6. You can buy 2mm, 4mm, 8mm spacers in a die cast metal. They sit on the stud bolts, but are only held tight once the wheel is on and the nuts are put on. The other downside of these is that they shorten the length of your studs. You can buy the cheap spacers for about $25 a pair depending on thickness at any good tyre store or performance shop!
  7. 215's will be 7.5" wide...... whats the stud pattern??
  8. what brand is it and how much to send to newcastle?
  9. hey mate... im guessing its a 4 door if its a passage... how many k's has it done?? what colour is it???? if u have any pics, could u please forward them on to [email protected]... many thanks
  10. hey man.... what width are the rims and what size are the tyres, very interested!!
  11. Hi guys..... about to throw away a Cefiro 1/2 cut to the scrap..... some interior dash pieces still in it (brown), cluster, air vents, RB20DE motor but no manual gearbox as I'm using it in my conversion. No good panels available on it, but front suspension available. Willing to sell parts for cheap!!! Any Offers?????
  12. know of any injectors that will bolt into an FJ20ET??
  13. thanks for fixing my typo lol.... yea forgot to mention the MR30 stuff bolts on, know of any cheap R30 parts cars for sale adam??
  14. Anyone travelling up from the Newcastle area to the SnS on Sunday???? I'd be keen for a small convoy of Newcastle Nissans to travel up the F3 together!!
  15. Hi....anyone know of any Nissan AFM's that are interchangeable with the FJ20DET Vane type?? Just need a upgrade until I have the money for a Microtech.
  16. yea i agree with adam! the dr30 is becoming a cult car in japan and is inevitably going up in price here in australia as well. they have been advertised in sydney for up to $12000. a very worthwhile car to own and you will turn a lot of heads as not many people know what they are! im not a huge fan of the NICS RB20DET and decided to go a different direction and purchase a dr30 with an FJ20DET in it. the SR20DET replaced these engines, but the FJ is such an internally strong motor. with few basic mods, 200rwkw can easily be achieved. parts are much of a problem for the R30 coupes because like any Nissan, parts are interchangeable the r31 would probably be easier to get parts for but there isnt much difference
  17. Brand new 85mm or 3 3/4" Specometer Shift-Light Tachometer. You can set the RPM Shift Light to the desired RPM you want to shift at. Easy to install. Complete with installation instructions in the original plastic box. Suitable for 4, 6 and 8 cylinder engines. ** $130
  18. Any pics??? Whats the inlet size + overall size of the filter???
  19. Not too sure what else its got. Never got told too many details about it. It is a older model, but I know it has a manual timer function adjustable from 10 seconds to 10 minutes, voltage display and maybe a temperature display + a built in stop watch.
  20. Yeh sounds like worn rings to me, just what the other have replied. Bit of a bastard problem as engine will need fair bit of work and labour.
  21. Get a Z32 AFM meter. It will be a good upgrade anyways as it is bigger in diameter. A SAFC could solve the problem by tuning it out.
  22. Im selling it for a friend who had it wired up in an older car. You don't necessarily need the plugs to wire it in. Even if the plugs are there, a plug adaptor needs to be bought to install it. The timer is Japanese so instructions are useless, but the wires are easily identified. STILL FOR SALE!!
  23. Yea sounds like the gearbox could be on its way out. What kind of car is it doofus?? Its hard to comment on the car if we dont know what it is. If you are handy on the tools, a second hand replacement gearbox should be no more than $600. Factor this into the price the seller is asking and put in a reasonable offer taking the gearbox problem into account.
