Why would anyone go to the trouble of lifting out a 1.5m x 4m pane of glass from the Toyshop Imports shop front, lean it gently against the wall without breaking it, then proceed to steal 4 BOV's and some empty boxes? Newcastle doesn't have the smartest criminals. The person who broke into the Toyshop the second time was caught and charged because his car was seen in the area 10 minutes before the break - in. He also took a stolen BOV to a local performance workshop and asked for it to be fitted! Some people will go to extraordinary lengths to get what they want unlawfully, but in Don's case, I would suggest that someone has scoped out the workshop before the break - in and it wasn't just willy nilly.

Having to get rid of a car because of the km's is bulldust. The registration and tax fees increase each year as the car gets older.

The problem with flying up there and hiring a car if you are under 25 is the fact you can't hire a car as most places have a policy of 21 or 25 and older. I drove from Brisbane to Newcastle in 9.5 hours with one 30 minute stop at Buladelah for a refuel and food stop. If you leave early in the morning, i.e 5am, you run the chance of falling asleep at the wheel a few hours into the trip as well.

Sounds like the motor in the sunroof is rooted!

I opted out of buying another Skyline when upgrading from my DR30 a month ago. I now have a 2004 BA Falcon. I figured, for the price I could buy a 1995 Skyline for, I would be better off with a car 9 years newer, complete with a factory warranty, no insurance issues and all the lurks and perks that come with a new car.

Also has aftermarket dash cluster, brake master cylinder stopper, metal intercooler pipes and maybe Z32 AFM's? Gauges are self explanitory - Boost, Water Temp, Exhaust Temp, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure.
