Talking of taxis, why do you think all the taxis are Ford Falcons not Holden Commodores? Falcons are much more reliable. I recently got rid of a DR30 and am now in a 2004 BA Falcon. Couldn't be happier with my choice as the car is 22 years newer, has a new car warranty and all modern interior gadgetry. The 4L engine displaces 182kw standard and even though it is powering a 1600kg car, it has more than enough poke. I could have bought a R33 GTST or a well used R32 GTR for the same money, but you can only do the speed limit.

If you can buy all the bigger items, all the smaller nuts and bolts should be able to be bought from Nissan. Expect to pay around $1200 for a complete kit with most nuts and bolts. P.S you need to add a manual dash instrument cluster to your list of goodies

You can either run it through the passengers side on the firewall, along with the engine loom wiring, or on the drivers side up behind the fuse box along with the accessories wiring loom.

Was it the rear ones near the firewall? These are the most prone to snapping.

Usually indicates a blown globe somewhere on the cars exterior. Have you checked your brake lights?
