  1. Im running 500hp flat out on the track with a stock 25. So far so good. It all comes down to supporting mods. Ie good tune, good cooling, good turbo, cooler and exhaust. They are renound to be fragile. They crack eaisly from knock from what i have been told.
  2. Im running a RB25 with a GT3582 or GT3540 in the old language. Wouldnt recomend the rb26 set up on a 20 head. Car feels great at all rpm and runns about 15psi. It just feels like it wants to get up and boogy all the time.
  3. Mmmm I wouldnt suggest using a rb20ecu. Im running a rb25 ecu. Best to let the ecu deal with the injectors and the vct rater than putting in an extra system. RB25 box is a great idea. All you need is the yoke (the part that comes out of the back of the box) and get a tail shaft place to weld in on to the original 32 tail shaft. No need to upgrade the diff. The R200 is fine. A nice nismo or kazz LSD is always good and getting a diff place to assemble and align the gears will ensure you never have to worry about it. Another good turbo option is a td06. That will get you a decent 260kw dayt in day out.
  4. Rb20 and 25 clutches are the same. You will need a good auto elec. Everyting ellse bolts up nicely. You will also need a diffrent throtle cable from memory. and r33 ecu and loom cos the rb20 ecu wont run the vct or the injectors. To be honest it would be much eiser to slap a 2530 on a rb20 and make a solid 220kw.
  5. Yeah thats my R32. What do you need to know. Im verry happy with it. It gives killer response and 40hp straight up. Understand that Gready pleniums have stuff all responce and have no performace advantage untill about 450kw so there great for drag thats it.
  6. ^^^^^ Bwhahahaha
  7. In morabin you should check out Meridian Motorsport. One thing you should ask yourself when you buy a helmet. How much is your head worth?
  8. More info here
  9. We hate snowy because he sends people to the back of BBQ line when asked if he could get a sausage when his about to be served.
  10. So we are now talking about knok vs lean. I know which one id prefure to avoide. Knok knock... whos there.... a blown motor. Ethonol does contain more oxygen making your motor run slightly leaner but the increment is minimal and if my tuner recomends it its gospel in my books. The benifts of knock protection out weigh the small increments in a lean tune. I have yet to see an octain boost that doesnt fill your motor with crud and actually works well. Last time I run the stuff it covered my plugs in gunk and it knocked it head off.
  11. Damn hoons giving skylines a bad name. If you cant keep traction on a wet day you shouldnt be driving. Here is a site that will stop those slipery moments. Click here and post your heart out over there
  12. I would strongly recomend the following to anyone doing a track day. Replace the current pads with high performance items and put in some good quality fluid. I recomend HAWK HT-10's. The are pricy however they will last twice as long as any other pad you will ever use and they are not too harsh on disks. I would also recomend Endless pads or Ferodos. If you are running a PFC make sure you get a nice and safe tune and take you hand controler to the track. Track conditions can never be replicated on the dyno so a safe tune on the dyno will be close to a good tune for the track as things get hot. I would highly recomend running Shell 100 fuel for the day just to keep thinks super safe. There is little time to be made by small increases in power. There is much more time to be made in driving smoothly. More power usally means more heat leading to a number of bad things. These items will add to the cost of a track day but they are the CHEAPEST insurance to ensure the day stays as cheep as possible and you get maximum enjoyment. There is nothing worse than only being able to do one lap due to brakes fading or going home with a broken car. You pay good money for one of these days with heaps of track time so best that you get to use it all.
  13. Yeah about 16 psi. Thats about as much as we are willing to run on a clapped out stock motor on pump fuel.

  16. The Performance Box is alway a good option. Seems to be a lot cheaper than anything ellse. I use the drift box which is the same abart from the ability to measure sidways angle. Performance Box

  20. Oh o. I have just put DBA 4000's on the front and rear with Hawk HT-10's front and rear. Might have to keep an eye on them. They cooked the fluid fisrst time at the track but thats my fault for not flushing and changing the fluid with some good stuff. So what does the paint on the rotor tell me. So the set up is a R32 GTSt with UAS adapter plate to run DBA 4000 GTR rotors with Hawk pads. Cheers
  21. I thought this was the Count.
  22. Ha ha man you so funny. i get what you mean. Dont worry ill booz with you at dutton. Probably sensible we do it on the Sunday night this time.
  23. Wow im going to sit on the fence on this one as much as I can. All I know is GTR's are fast but driving is driving. The leasons learnt in driving a rwd without assists pay dividends when you jump in to a GTR but not so much in a AWD as they are diffrent again. I dont think the skills learnt driving a GTR will help you to drive a rwd without assists as much as the other way round. A GTR is like driving a RWD but it just deos everything faster. An AWD is like driving a fast FWD. I have followed both Snowey and Jack in Chris's car but Snoweys car has had some extra work done to it since. Snoweys car is faster than Chris's in power and handeling and Jacks car is faster than Snoweys. Not only that Jack is a clean driver. Roy I double dare you to walk in to Race Pace and say GTR's are meat head cars.
  24. You just keep thinking that sonwy and while your doing it go to the back of the line
  25. Your loss Ill see you on the podium at dutton.. ill be the guy in the middle looking down at you!
