What annoys me is the Bahrain has had poor attendance figures at the track for a few years now. Being it is the most anticipated race of the new season it would make more sense to allow a more accessable track for the average person and hardcore racing fan to attend rather that being stiffed to watch an average track with nothing to fill the tele but the lovely landscape of sand and empty grandstands....Approx 1/3 of the season's tracks are in this bracket which is slowly strangling the interests of fans who filled grandstands in more traditional venues in the past. F1 is dying year by year whether it by controversy or greed of the dwarf man.

+1 for the clay bar......best product to get paint back to excellent condition.

It would run in series with the alternator cct.......a very weird way of doing it but that is just the way it is.

Thats coilpacks fault 4 sure...my old Stagea did the same thing. Would only do it when alota moisture in the air or very cold morning. SEARCH results show 90% result to a coil stuffed. Good luck!!

To take out the motor itself ain't too much of a problem, just unclip the door cover and remove the motor by undoing a couple of bolts. Its a brush motor and also 3 microswitch contacts in cct. If the brushes aren't worn out then maybe a switch is stuffed.

CV joints usually only make noises on full lock (eg u-turns) and make more than one click sound.

I would be booking in a workshop ASAP before it gets on the boat. I used IAMSHE on the Gold Coast for my Stagea......They were ok but had a couple of small dramas with some of their work that they'd done on the car. Nevertheless car was quick through the shop and on the road as promised.

AFAIK you will have to buy some new tyres for compliance. I just flogged my ones off to a local tyre yard and got em to swap my other rubber back on the rims. Suspension should't really be a problem...as long as it aint too low. Where u going for compliance? PM me if u don't wanna broadcast it!! Good luck

That is true...but if thats the case then he wouldn't be able to shift into 4th with tiptronic. It even locks it in 3rd when in tiprtonic mode and cold... Wheel button not working will simply be the plug not connected at the console (easy to forget especially after removing console). I would take out the console around gearbox and check that nothing else not connected or has been hacked into, simple 5 min job and may save you some $$.Failing that,see what a transmission mechanic says as it a bit of an odd fault, more than likely an electrical issue

Car sounds very nice at full revs!! Any chance to go nut in your car in a controlled environment is to be taken wherever possible.....looks like you havn a ball (and the guys filmin it intrigued) I would like to end by saying cars can be washed free of dirt.....we not all show ponies!!!
