  1. believe it or not its not how powerful the car is which determines how u drive it, its how far u put the foot down, jeez if u don't want the power either learn to control the right foot, or stack some wood under the accelerator
  2. even installed was a quick tune would be better then stock ECU, i spent $100 for a install and 10 min road tune, and car ran sweet as, then made upto 220rwkw now with the stock turbo and th PFC tuned
  3. how much and where do i sign ???
  4. dunno about fuel pressure and how much its been ramped up no not from perth, tuning was done in sydney by a local tuner
  5. sard FPR, unsure which model. the lower of the 2 running a little over 1 bar, having been using it day in day out so far without problem.....touchwood yes, good looking AFR curve injectors hit about 92% duty cycle using stock air intake exhaust yeah sorry 3" turbo back
  6. 218.7 RWKW PFC AVCR FMIC cam gear uprated fuel pump and reg i'm abolutely stoked all this on the STOCK turbo, yes thats right STOCK turbo dyno sheet is attached
  7. hey all got my car dynoed a few weeks back but haven't had time to post up the sheet yet. thanks to paul from hunter thomas automotive in newcastle who did an awesome job, i was hoping for about 200ish but 218 is awesome mods r as follows FMIC fuel pump & reg PFC AVCR HD Clutch still running stock injectors, air intake, AFM, and everything else which hasn't been changed
  8. your graph starts going down before your car hits 180, and yeah even running 1 bar on the stock turbo my car keeps increasing power till 6200rpm where it stops because the turbo can't supply more air, so i dunno why yours drops off so early, there is still 1500rpm before redline, shouldn't be dropping off so fast so early
  9. SK i made 218.7 rwkw on the stock turbo with the stocko injectors, only added a nismo fuel pump and a sard fuel pressure regulator, i think my mechanic said he wound up the pressure 4 psi, not sure, i'll see tommorow what my injectors hit when boost maxs at 1.1 bar, will let u know but i know he didn't wind much more into it,
  10. so tru dush, so tru i made 220 rwkw on the stocko turbo, though i dunno how long it'll last like this
  11. look down to ur trusty electronic boost controller, dial in 1.1 bar or 200rwkw then 3rd gear and cya later, this is in a controlled environment of course, on the street, grab the nearest piece of fruit and throw it at him
  12. mine runs 1.1 bar, and so far no probs.......... spools up a treat as well
  13. 1. $550 2. FMIC, 3" exhaust (turbo back), PFC, cam gears, fuel pump and reg, HD clutch, AVC-R 3. tuned by Paul from Hunter Thomas Automotive, tuned in sydney at ProCar Racing 4. dunno he took the car to sydney for a day 5. very happy made 220 rwkw on stock turbo, cars runs so nice now, idles smoothly, accelerates properly, and uses less petrol A+++++++++++++++ rating for sure
  14. for the record is bring home $450pw, but if u r living at home like i also am then yeah its quite possible i've also modified to the stage where next step is bigger turbo, injectors and AFM
  15. $450 pw after tax, good luck depending on how u drive you are looking at $100-$150 a week in loan repayment insurance will be about $50 a week (2500 p.a.) rego and 3rd party. $20 a week or so petrol depending on how many k's u do, i do about 200 k's a week and thats about 30 bucks, but if u do more, then say $50 a week so out of each pay you got $200-$270 going straight into your car. This is before tires, services, and other incidentals can you live off $200 a week.............
  16. mine does that every so often, i just thought there wasn't enougfh power to run the starter motor properly and sounded like a clutch like device was clicking away, dunno, a quick push and off we went, starts properly now
  17. ohh and splitfire coils cause the other ones died, $1000, woudla gone thru nengun but i need the car so was left with little choice
  18. i have stock turbo pfc - 1000 nismo fuel pump - 500 sard fpr - 300 intercooler - 1300 (ripped off i know) exhaust - 700 AVC-R - 350 cam gears - 250 tune - 550 220 rwkw !!!!! too easy, now to get a timeslip
  19. rich and retard shouldn't see a power drop like that, mine just flattened out quite a bit but still pulled to redline
  20. that my friends are the CDI stacks which won't be working too hard yet, but when that things starts to run more boost........... heard its making 400hp on 4psi...........but doesn't seem right.
  21. my r33 made 219kW at 1 bar, happy as, runs sweet, flat as boost curve, and hauls ass
  22. fresh

    apexi ecv

where can u get them from ?
  23. there is a thread up the top with rb25's and the power they are making, mines at 218 rwkw on the stock turbo so there plenty of easy power to be gained
  24. good point you bring there, but obviously in traffic inlet temp means bugger all, only once get on the open road the temp will go down, and as the air is flowing at the higher velocity and as such the temps will go down....
  25. u will find there is little difference with the tape at 5000 rpm on 7 psi boost, u are using approx. 12500 litres of air per minute (5000rpm/2(4 stroke)*2.5(L)*2(boost)). Say you cooler piping is 5m long, and 8cm in diameter, the volume of cooler piping is 25132 cc or 251.32 litres, therefore the air is flowing through pretty fast. The air in the pipe is 'refreshed' 1000 times per minute or 16 times a second, not much time for heat absorbtion.............
