  1. gotta get off the crack!!....let me re phrase, got a bullit proof bottom end being built, now had 3 options for head, the most expensive was $9800 stage 3 full cnc porting and chambers, gasket set, race springs,1mm over size valves, cam gears, solid buckets, custom cams, can rev to 9000rpm and compliment bottom end to the tune of 1200hp,does that sound like a realistic price to pay??
  2. 1000hp+ with everything HKS step 3 2.8 crank with 86mm pistons so 2.7L Darton sleeve block Head cnc buckets 1mm os valve, springs etc Etc etc etc Head work is costing $9800 with all the fruit is this a normal price. With correct turbo...rpm 9000,off tap motor is this right price? Forget about bolt ons just block and head????? Genuine enquiry,

  5. if i get a flat tyre and have to use my spare will it damage diffs,or whateva if i have to drive the car and its a different diameter to the other 3 wheels??
  6. is it ok to switch from either 2wd or 4wd while moving "if" your in neutral and then dont engage drive for several seconds???

  8. Im going to be running 450+ kw and am using a 4 litre surge as E85 uses alot more fuel and good fuel pumps will empty a smaller tank in less than a minute. bosh are the tried and tested but are noisy, have a look at Peirburg Fuel Pumps they run virtually quiet(great if using in boot) they are bigger than bosh and more expensive but mercedes, audi, porsche, bugatti etc all use them so very reliable....fuel lines do weep so if going in boot pay the extra for the good stuff so you dont get the smell OR go twin bosh, cheap fuel lines and underbody surge- noise and smell shouldnt be an issue
  9. Cost is not the issue and fuel smell wont be as the correct lines will be used. Also a pierburg fuel pump is being used so noise wouldnt be a problem either.Just interested in peoples opinions who have surge tank installed...all pros and cons.. thanx
  10. i know this is an old thread but i have been stressing since i bought my 32 after seeing the rails and have wanted to get it fix,now i know its possible . So anyone know a workshop in brissie that could do the job,or even better someone that has had it done resently with good results. Thanks

  12. Had car jacked up when i grabbed the wheel at 9-3 (like gripping a steering wheel) there was back and forth movement, about 5-10mm. Car has lockout kit there is an arm coming off it and goes to part of the rear brake/wheel etc, it has what looks like adjustment in it. Basically want to know if i adust the arm, lengthen it outwards towards the outer of the car is this what needs to be done to correct the movement properly....or is it something completely different?? Any help would be appreciated. I did use the search but had no luck..
