  1. Same there's so many on carsales going for 15/16k and with 30,000km...all BS odo. I went to local import dealers and said they would buy these cars for $8k. There was a 03 non premium for sale for $27k i asked them why they are selling that one for so much and his excuse was, oh because its manual hahaha. Ridiculous.
  2. Yeah the price on these cars seem to have tanked pretty hard in the last few months. Does any one remember how much Sheldon ended up selling his few months back?
  3. Price drop $20k. Need to sell ASAP as this car will not have a space in the garage.

  7. Hey guys, Sadly parting with my V due to family commitments. It's done about 82,000km, mostly highway driving. Never been tracked and sleeps in the garage as a weekend car only. $24k negotiable. Mods include: - JDM double din dashkit - Kenwood aftermarket headunit - Bose speakers all swapped out for Pioneer system - Clear bump style indicators - Eagle eyes HIDs - New tyres on all 4 wheels (Michelin Pilots) - New Dixcel slotted rotors and M Pads on all 4 wheels. - Tinted windows - Infiniti grille badge (I have the original Nissan badge that clips on) No engine or exhaust mods. The car is very clean and has been kept in pristine condition and well looked after. I've always filled up on Shell VPower RON98 and it has always been serviced by both IS Motor Racing and TuneHouse. **I'm at work so more pics will come shortly. Feel free to PM me for more info. 10. I recommend Stance sc-5ive they look really similiar to the Vossen CV3. Not sure where to get Vossens in Australia though. i wouldn't mind a set myself.
  11. Awesome cheers!
  12. Anyone know how we can find out what the front rotor size is for the 2003 Coupe non-brembo? Also it's the 70th anniversary edition.
  13. From what i remember the front door and rear side speakers are all 6.5" the ones on the rear deck are 6x9"
  14. That's pretty much what they do haha. Give them a call and speak to Indy.
  15. Try IS Motor Racing over at Rockdale in Sydney. I take my v35 there to get serviced, they are pretty good and don't charge an arm or a leg.
  16. ok guys so for anyone who is interested i did a bit of research and found this (http://www.justanswer.com/nissan-infiniti/66u4x-infiniti-g35-sedan-2003-infiniti-g35-driving-suddenly.html) The symptoms seem very similiar to mine. A single engine knock, lights on the dash go out and radio turns off then restarts and the engines resumes all within a second. I'm guessing this should confirm its electrical related and should have nothing to do with the ECU as Scott mentioned. So right now it's either dodgy battery cable or moisture in the IPDM.
  17. Yeah i think i'm going to get it looked at, it's scary to be driving and having the power cut out on a freeway. Can anyone recommend a good auto electrician in Sydney that knows the V35's? Edit: Just got off the phone with Indy and the reason he think's it might be the ECU was because he had the exact same issue in his 350z. When he took it back to Nissan they replaced the ECU under warranty and that seemed to have fixed the problem.
  18. I was thinking maybe a ground wire but it's happened before, my guess would be that the wires may move around when the cars in motion but it's also occurred when the car was idle at a red light. Also from what i observed yesterday the headlights didn't turn off just the dash and head unit restarted.
  19. Neither have I and its weird that it happens so rarely too. But he's certain the ECU fault and that it restarts everything during its reboot.
  20. Yeah I flipped the side braces around and it's all good. Battery clamps are tight too, the bigger battery actually sits pretty snug. Indy says he's experienced the same problems in this car and the 350z all early models. He's pretty sure it's the ECU problem. Plenty of ppl on g35driver have similar experience and they reckon it might be a cam sensor.
  21. Update: So I spoke to Indy from IS Motor racing, turns out its a very common problem with the early models of our cars and also the fairlady's. Problem lies with the ECU as it just shuts down everything for a split second, he's got no idea why it does that and reflashing the ECU doesn't help either. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do so just hope it doesn't happen on a damn freeway
  22. Ok this is weird. Everything looks alright and batteries all connected up. Was driving today and it happened again. This time the dash light stayed on headlights stayed on but head unit restarted and the slip and VDC turned on for a sec before everything going back to normal, engine also knocks for a split second. Could it be something other than the battery? Because that was just replaced 6 months ago to a century 650cca one. Edit: From what i'm reading on the G35driver forums this sounds kind of similiar to a cam sensor issue any ideas?
  23. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-Infiniti-G35-Coupe-Battery-Tie-Down-/121039155837?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AG35&hash=item1c2e7ef27d&vxp=mtr That's what im talking about. Pretty sure it's not $999 as stated. problem is my battery is wider than those clamps on either side so i've had to improvise and flip that clamp thingy upside down.
  24. Garaged so shouldn't be a water issue. I'll have a look today to see if everything is secured. Does anyone know where we can get that thing that clips down the battery (not too sure what it's called). It's like a metal piece that screws over the battery and holds it in place.
