Hey guys experienced something weird today. Driving in peak hour traffic and the lights on my dash and head unit turned off by itself and then back on within a second. The engine also jolted and went back to normal. This is the second time it's happened in the last fortnight. Any idea what it could be? *engine doesn't cut out or stall it just jolts and then everything is fine. As well as all electrics then turn back on. All happens within a second.

Middle of the rear seats where they fold down there should be a red latch if you dig around.

There seems to be some confusion around the stock OEM tyre size for our Coupe. Can anyone clarify what the OEM tyre specs are for 17"? Currently mine are 235/45R17 all round.

Anyone tried Michelin Pilot Primacy's?

Did they drop the premium the year after if you don't have an accident? Because one of my mates has his WRX'S insured with Justcars and paid 1800 for the first year. And because he didn't have any accidents the following year his premium went down to just 1k. That seems pretty reasonable if they do that he whole reward you for being a safe driver incentive.

lol Shannons quoted me $3400. Justcars was pretty reasonable around $1600, anyone have any experience with Justcars? are they a headache to deal with when claiming?

Yeah i'm paying around 1600 but this year despite the fact i turned 25 they are looking at just a bit over 2k!! A few of my mates got theirs renewed and didn't get a rise. I get a feeling they're playing games.

Nope they were insured with AAMI after i purchased they even sent me a letter to renew my comprehensive...which i don't have anymore. Also i am listed as secondary driver and my parents are primary. No idea if they were just bullshitting me saying everyone's premiums are going up by couple of hundred this year, due to large amount of claims made in 2012.

Hey guys i know this has been covered a hundred times it looks like time for me to renew my comprehensive. Is anyone here insured with NRMA? they are giving me bullshit excuse on how everyone's premiums are going up this year the damn premium has gone up by $300 (no accident history) and despite the fact that i have turned 25, they also dropped the agree'd value by $5000 which is ridiculous. Even stranger is when i tried to get a quote from AAMI they told me they don't insure imports when the previous owner of my car was with AMMI!! WTH... When i told them the previous owner was insured by them, they told me someone must have made a mistake because it shouldn't have been insured. What's everyone else with? any recommend any good insurance companies? edit: typo

Thanks guys, will try that. If no luck then i guess i'll have to take off the interior side panels and strip out the rear seats to get the deck off and have a look... Also yeah i've been in my mates BRZ the rear is terrible to work in as well.

I think mine's stuck doesn't come out no matter what i do. I think i may need to take out the rear deck just to see what's going on....i hate how just to get to that we have to strip off the interior side panels, belt and the rear seat and same as Sean being 6'1" i hate working in the back of our car lol.

Hey guys does anyone know how we take out the center brake light for the coupe? Mine also seems to work on occasions which is weird, probably a loose cable. I think we just pull it up and out from what i have read and done before, but this seems to be stuck for some reason. Also is there anyway to access the rear deck or do we have to strip off both panels and the rear seat?

Thanks. Somehow its working again. I have no idea how water got into it when i washed the car. I just took it apart and used a hair dryer on it...been working ever since.

I'm guessing that must be highway km unless he's driving a little 1.5L v4. Max i've gotten out of mine for highway km is about 700 and that's with a little bit of enthusiastic driving.

My left side Xenon igniter somehow busted seems like water got into it when i washed the car, does anyone know if the xenon igniters are the same for all Nissan cars? Seen some for the 350z and Murano that look similiar to ours. I know i can get them on eBay, but given its holiday season and i'll be waiting forever to get these shipped. Also don't want to go to Nissan since i know i'll be gypped by them by their usual "oh it's an import" gimmick.

Infiniti badge for the front grille, debadged everything from the trunk lid. New Sound system and amp with the JDM buttons for the dash kit and not the crappy US rubber ones, clear indicators and hopefully new headlights. Missed out on the group buy a few months back and kicking myself... Engine wise....trying to keep it all stock so no performance mods.

Yeah Insurance job. But the Panel beater is having trouble finding the correct color seatbelt too. Nissan can't help either apparently since these were limited....

Car got clipped on the rear by some guy not giving way. Had to replace to entire quarter panel.....3 months in the shop already and according to the panel beater the belt system either the motor or something broke

Thanks man. I contacted Nissan spare parts they asked for my VIN number but they don't know what color the belt is, all they can tell is that the belt is for interior trim code S. Any idea what color that is or how i could find out?

Hey guys i'm after a seat belt for the rear right passenger seat in my 2003 V35 coupe. Only problem is that my car is the anniversary edition with cream interior and all the seat belts i can find are black. My mechanic has tried but has no luck. Any idea guys? Also does anyone know if the seat belts for the rear are the same as the sedans?
