you can do ANYTHING at www.zombo.com

Yeah is does INASNT as most things in life its going to be worked out at whatever is going to cost more. If the physical weight is more than the cubic weight it will be charged at the real weight of the item. But in C34ations case its going to be really large but not that heavy so it will be worked out by the size.
-
Sorry, thats meant to be / 4000 Eg. 30cm x 20cm x 20cm / 4000 = 3kg Cubic

I work as a Despatcher, and if i were you I would not send anything Toll Ipec's way unless its insured. I have lost many thousands of dollars worth of stock through their incompetent ways. You might find youself in a bit of a position walking down to the post office with a full exhaust don't you think? Anyway if i were you I would send via TNT Road Express, its cheapish, reliable and they will come to you and pick it up, and also drop it off personally. Aust Air Express are even more reliable and faster than TNT but comes at a cost. I'll give your a rough guide as to work out costs via TNT road to major citys First you will need to calculate Volumetric weight (cubic) here's how Height x Width x Length / 4000 = Cubic Kg From Melb to Syd/Can/Adel $13.60 up to 15kg add 0.34 for every Kg over 15kg From Melb to Bris/Perth $31.45 up to 15kg add 0.95 for every Kg over 15kg TNT - 13 11 50 you can call this number for a quote. Insurance is avilble upto $1000 for an extra $10 Hope this helps.

The stock blow off valve will to the job as well as any other blow-off valves as long as your running stock 7pound boost. The stock BOV is in the best possible position as it virtually on-top of the throttle body, most after market BOV"s are quite large and need to me mounted further down reducing their effetiveness. But if all your after is the whoosh sound like sewid said, all you need to do is get a POD filter, as the stock BOV will blow air back into the air box and that muffles the sound. if you get a POD it won't be muffled and its loud enough for you to hear and others close by to hear, but not so loud as to attract every cop car within a 5km radius to your 'illegal modifcations'. And if your after the 'flutter' sound this can also be acheived through the stock bov. Just get a POD and pull the vacum hose out of the BOV. Make sure you block it off real good however, or you will stall.

Selling my old cars rims on Ebay, I know its not skyline related, or even Jap related but you might have some friends that are interested. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=2473740796

Similar shit happened to my brother. Group of youths about 8 of them, all >18 attacked his BMW while he was backing out of a friends driveway. He copped some rocks which cracked the windsheild and a kicked in rear quarter panel, he just drove off with $1400 worth damage he claimed it on insurance. Now as stupid as these kids come I didn't belive people could be this stupid but they actually lived in the house across the road from where it happened. Insurance company sent the morons the bill, they refused to pay. Matter went to court, they got away with it because they were Juvenile's. My brother was left with the $500 Excess.

There is a place in town that is awesome, 'Mirror Finish' fantastic work! Makes the price tag worth it at least, got a spolier done their for $250. If you say you were sent there by 'car shine' they'll treat the job like it was their own car.

Wired up my own HKS Type 1 turbo timer, has anyone else tried this in their skyline? if so did you get an incorrect speed reading out of your timers speed mode? Im sure its wired up properly as the speedo seems to be insync with my timer however my timer reads 'exactly' half of the speed im doing, eg. speedo = 100 timer = 50 Its no big deal, but this problem also throws off the 0-400m timer which is a cool function. Any body got any idea?

R33 Headlights - plastic > glass
JiVE replied to ASYLUM's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I used some Silvo, its a silver polish/mild cutter. Came up really well just need to give it a few coats. Really good idea if you have a silver colour car because all the excess you get around the lights also cuts out some stone chips you might have -
Heh exactly, but other than its Offical name I don't really know what else to tell you.....? Other than it makes loud noises when bad men try to get in the car...
-
Well I took it down to autobarn despite the bad rating, I just don't want to do it myself incase I blow up my ECU or something horrid. And they had a look at the timer and because it has other functions other than just a timer (batt reading/rev/speed etc.) They decided it was going to cost more. $170 and need the car for the whole day!!! so I told them where to go.... :devfu: it was going to cost me more to install it than what I paid for it. So has anyone installed a HKS Type 1 timer themselves? I need some advise. Also where is the best place to mount one? AutoTrust, I have a 'Cougar type Blue' alarm system.
