i seriously dont know how ppl get into high speed chases. if your racing on the streets and go past the cops at high speed i dont think there going to chase you. if so they have a duty of care. cops chasing cars at high speed is stupid. they're only going to make the person running from the cops panic and increase the chance of ana ccident and innocent ppl being hurt or killed.

had a problem with my r33 recently. when i start it after it has been sitting there for a while (in the moring or after work) when i take off for the first time or full lock turning out of a carpark there is a heavy shunt that comes back through the steering wheel. also happens the first time i apply brakes heavily in the morning. car doesnt shake at high speed, pads seem fine, brake fluid is ok. not sure what it is??

Ive had a hks 2535 on my r33 for over a year now and it hasnt missed a beat. i have all the necessary mods to keep everything running well and peice of mind. i have been runnign 1 bar of the actuator since i installed the new turbo and it makes a healthy 231rwkw i was winging a few months ago that i wasnt happy with the response even though it makes 1 bar at 3000rpm. couldnt be bothered with cams or whatever so ive wound the boost up. ive set peak boost via a bleed tap at 1.20bar. The car is now making 18psi at 3100 rpm and is awesome. only problem is it doesnt hold 19psi, it drops to 12-13psi by redline. ive checked all the piping and everything is fine. Is it because my pfc is not tuned to run 1.2bar???

i was thinking bout putting a screamer on my hks 2535 but it will probably sound crap. its not much bigger than the standard turbo. would it sound like i pulled O2 sensor out??? even if i was running 18psi???

i see fellas... more boost is always the best remedy. apparently i need the bigger injectors cos i dont want to be running insane pressure thru the fuel rail. im gonna have a go at fabricating my own split/screamer pipe aswell. this might have an effect on lag as i might be getting some turbulence with just a 3 inch down pipe coming off the turbo... ill get a ebc and wind the boost up to 17-18psi and hope that keeps me happy for 5 mins the mines idea is not really an option, would cost a fortune.

stock speedo is terribly out. 205kmh is possible in 4th but at those speeds the speedo can be up to 30kmh out

no boost control just running it off the hks actuator. no boost leaking holds 1 bar till redline... if i up the boost will it make it full boost at the same time???

ive already tuned the first 8X8 cells in a very similar fashion, it made a difference to economy and the transition between off-boost and coming on. that table u have displayed paulr33 looks like the stock ignition table?? will an exhaust cam gear make the mid range much more punchy???

ive got a 3 inch zorst from the turbo back, i just want it to come on harder it still spins all the way thru 2nd but i want more boredom is a killa!!!

for the last 6 months ive had a 2535 on my series 1 rb25 running 15psi and putting out 231kw. the car is punchy and makes full boost by 3200rpm but i want it to feel more aggressive and come on boost more rapidly and maybe earlier. (it feels like a vtec, very safe tune) I think these are my options: *bigger 550cc injectors and run a more aggresive tune *exhaust cam gear *split dump pipe does anyone else have any ideas how i can make my car more aggressive out of the corners? I'm a sook, i cant handle any lag

bodykits!!! since i put my bodykit on ive has nothing but trouble... it must say look at me(ive got sh*t going on c ome and defect me) since the start of the year i have been living in melbourne cbd and the police havent worried me. There is a skyline on every corner. When i was living in the country the cops had nothing better to do than pull me over and give me a hard time.

if the turbo is gone that too bad. has it been retuned since the injectors and afm have gone in??? im looking to upgrade the injectors, run more boost and add a cam gear in the next few weeks, i hope i dont have these issues

i made less than yours.. 231rwkw i have 255 tryes on the back with 80% tread. if i come out of a round about in 2nd and stomp on it they will spin from 4000rpm onwards and i get some spin in 3rd but not much... really scary at first because it would come on boost rapidly and push u back into the seat... apparently the dyno my car was tuned is a bit tight and there might be an extra 8-10kw in it but who cares.

does it feel like its going as hard on 14psi as it originally was? with 244rwkw it should be spinning in 2nd and some of 3rd with the big phat mid-range this turbo produces

its the actuator, get rid of the nissan one i have a very similar setup to yours but i have the hks actuator. I have no boost controller and the spring in the actuator holds a min of 1 bar. Mine peaks at 15psi at 3200 rpm and holds to redline where it dips to 14psi at 6500rpm. I have no doubts this turbo can run 1.2 bar all day long, i just need bigger injectors...

probably gonna get booted for this but go figure.... many of times i have been given a hard time by the law for driving within the speed limit and suffered consequences cos the police want to give me a hard time cos i drive a SKYLINE!!! on the other hand i have gone passed the police well over the speed limit and they ignore cos im in my company car that is a commodore. im not saying the police let people with holdens off but I think when police see a skyline etc. they tend to get the mentality that this is just another hoon and im gonna bust his ass... if you break the law u should just cop it on the chin and deal with it but i do believe we are blackballed cos we drive skylines!

power fc all the way. pual r33 knows his sh** when it comes to power fc and its hard to go by the apexi when it comes to r33's.
