ive bolted up my hks 2535 to my rb25det and installed the power fc that im yet to get tuned. I have to drive the car to melb to get it tuned. the car runs much better on power fc than stock ecu.
there's a high pressure squeal almost coming from inside the dash tho. must be an air leak somewhere. i'm being very careful driving the car untuned.
ive just got it on monitor mode and knock is below 35, inj duty max 50% and everything else seems normal.
ordered my power fc today from nengun and i ordered a nismo fpr aswell. the order has been confirmed and it says it wont be delivered until july 18.
is this normal. do they put this up as a last possible delivery date or will it really be delivered that late?
just looked at the nengun website and the nismo fpr is $156 delivered.
its a complete replacable unit for the stock fpr.
this is its description:
Replaces the factory fuel regulator and will allow adjustment of the fuel pressure to 10Ka/L/h with a flow rate of 250m/second.
is this suitable for my application???
just put a hks 2535 in my rb25det and im bout to get in tuned with a power fc.
haven't hot the cash atm to put bigger injectors in so im going the band-aid solution-fuel pressure regulator.
Do i need to buy a malpassi or a sard fpr or could i get away with a lesser brand fpr like a velocity or monza???
The sard and malpassi cost 3 times as much, are they worth it???
just bought myself a hks 2535 for my r33. its all bolted up but a friend of mine said that i cant just add new oil and coolant and turn the key.
is this true???
do i have to pull of the air intake and hold the compressor wheel for a cpl of seconds so the oil and water prssure can actually get into the turbo???
i have his address but thats it, i checked with Auspost and theres no recollection of anything being sent. he said he sent it express on tuesday. from reading other posts ppl say his a reliable guy, why is he stuffing me around so much?
has anybody had any dealings with 33apx? i bought his hks 2535 off him 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. i did an exchange of my standard turbo plus cash adjustment. he has told me many excuses but now he isnt responding. i'm getting pretty worried now, what should i do???
This is a real pain in the ass. Theres a guide on the camshaft and the ignition unit. My cas was not mounted completely square and this broke off the CAS key. U are reable to mount it but u must get it completely right. Turn the engine over until u can get the marks on the cam to line up 0 and 180 degrees. then with the ignition unit line it up the opposite. make sure u get it as close as possible. DO NOT twist or turn at all until it slides all the way on. By factory settings the whole unit should sit at 15 degrees.
doing an exchange with a HKS 2535, he wants everything, and so do i so we can just bolt the turbos on, so i have to get it off, where does it bolt onto the block???
yeah my mistake, i notice its a water line now. any tips on how to get it off? I have to sell it has a whole complete package, we are doing an exchange. is it hard to get off.
im having trouble removing the rear water line off my car. I removed the standard turbo fairly easily. Im having trouble with the line that connects on the inside of my turbo and goes around the back of the engine block, where does it go?? and how do I get it off?
i have standard turbo in good condition, still on my car. i'll give $1250 cash plus turbo in exchange for hks 2535 with oil, water lines and actuator. tell wat u think
hopefully if all goes well i will have a hks 2535 soon. buying this off 33apx. he wants me to exchange my standard turbo. So ill have to bolt the hks on straight away.
I dont have a power fc atm. (Hopefully in 2 weeks)
I have done a bit of a search on this. different people say different things. Problem is i live in wodonga, and to my knowledge no one around here knows how to tune a power fc.
Will it be safe to put the hks 2535 on at min boost (8-10psi) and drive to melb (300kms) with the stock ecu and take it to creatd abd get the pfc installed and tuned???
i dont want to wreck my engine!!
im interested too. i think it would just sound like a hole in exhaust. For a screamer too sound good i think u have to have atleast 1.2 bar of boost and u wont do that with a stock turbo
i see you have the pfc for sale and your post says 550cc injectors soon to be sold. What about your hi-flow? are you selling it. If you are selling all 3 i would be prepared to buy them as a package, but not for bout a month.
I have put off going the high-flow turbo for a while. Creatd seem to be the closest tuner for me. For a full tune $350 seems pretty resonable. My cars pretty stock, can i assume i will have 185-195rwkw after pfc tune with the following mods:
-stock turbo
-cai + pod filter
-3" exhaust from the turbo back
-upgraded fuel pump(not sure what one) & surge tank
-FMIC
-iridium plugs
-boost set at 12psi
