  1. I think i will try to bolt the high flow on myself. Will it run on the standard ecu if I keep it on low boost (7psi) til I get the injectors and pfc fitted and tuned. Creatd are more local to me but i dont mind driving. Has anyone had there car tuned by them? So having injectors fitted and the Apexi PFC tuned im looking at about $600-650???
  2. i have just bought a pfc for my s1 r33. still waiting on 550cc injectors and hope to get my turbo high flowed by gcg by the end of next month. Can anyone recommend a reputable PFC tuner in melb and what kind of money will it cost to get- injectors and high flow fitted and get the power fc tuned.

  4. ive seen a cpl of 2nd hand high flows for sale for bout $1000. What is the expected life of a high flow and would you u steer clear of a 2nd hand high flow? Refering to my first post would i need to upgrade the injectors with a 450 hp high flow or would i be able to get away with a just fuel regulator. I already have an upgraded fuel pump.
  5. fair enough, is there other options beside the high flow then? is there a great difference between the stage 1(450hp) and stage 2(500+hp) high flows. Are gcg the most reputable highflower or is there other co's out there that can do an adequate highflow?
  6. im after 240rwkw or so... my plan of attack is to do this in a cpl of stages stage 1: power fc + HC -$980 stage 2: injectors -$650 fuel regulator -$200 stage 3: t3/t04e turbo $1000 theres a couple of these turbo's on the market and some dont have the best reviews. This worries me a bit. Im on a bit of a budget but im after a turbo that bolts straight onto the existing rb25det manifold and is internally gated. Have much to get this stuff fitted and tuned and does anyone think there is anything else i would need?
  7. im looking at buying a t3/t04e for my rb25det. ($1000) it has stage 3 wheels, 3" inlet, 2" outlet, .50 A/R compressor cover and .63 A/R turbine with a .57 trim Its internally gated and will bolt straight up. To fit the turbo what mods will have to be made? ie intercooler piping? so far my car has FMIC, upgraded fuel pump, surge tank, 3" zorst from turbo back, and air intake. I only have factory ecu and injectors. will they be up to it? what kind of power at the wheels can i expect running at 10-13psi?
  8. i bought a multi meter thingy today too see if there was any current going into the ignition and power wires for my headunit and it showed no charge for all the wires behind the headunit. I checked the fuses and they all seem ok. How can i run my headunit so it has power but turns off when i turn the car off?
  9. my head unit wont fire up. I checked the fuses, there fine. Pulled the unit out and reconnected it and nothing, so i thought maybe the unit may of had it... ripped the headunit out of the mrs' car and still no fire. Also my little clock on the dash isnt working either??? everything else on the dash worx tho

  11. have to fit a standard bov back on my rb25det. What do i have to do to plum it back in. What type of hose do i use. From wat i can see the hose connects to the intake. At the moment it looks as if there is some kind of cork plugged in it. How do i make the hose air tight where it connects back to the intake? Any pics would be awesome
  12. got a standard item on its way. thanx for the pm's guys. since i have put my car back to standard its a real s***box. r33's really do react to cheap mods. standard boost and airbox make the car really slow and sluggish
  13. Lately i've had difficulty with police defecting my vehicle for boost controllers, safc, pod filter and bov. I'm thinking bout upgrading to a power fc as my car is really lacking since i have gone back to standard boost, no piggy-back and standard airbox. With a power fc is there any sign of it being in your car? wiring etc... Also with the extra Power fc boost control kit does it just work like any normal ebc and can it be hidden in your vehicle so cops dont slap another canary on my car. I want my car to look as stock as possible for cops but want it to perform better as it sucks driving atm.

    Ive been defected by the cops again and need to buy a standard bov for a rb25det. My car is off the rd until i can get a standard or plumback bov for my car. need asap
  15. I've been done by this same cop 3 times now. I have a turbosmart type 2 bov which is atmospheric. Need a standard blow off for a rb25det.
  16. The mrs borrowed my r33 the other night and when she got home the tail lights weren't working and the dash wasn't lighting up. My brake lights still work. where is the fuse for these lights and is it difficult to change?
  17. I had my car dyno tuned a cpl of weeks ago and the tuner put everything back to the factory settings(the ones under the hood) He set my ignition tining to 15 deg. I've noticed my car runs very rough at this setting. It doesnt idle that well (bouncing) and its not as responsive. There was a cpl of markings on the ignition timing plate when i bought the car. since the tune i have moved(retarded i think) back to the pencil markings. My car is idleing much better now and is heaps more responsive. I think im getting more fuel efficiency too. Just worried if im doing any long term damage and is it safe to leave it like this? Its an s1 R33 with standard turbo 3" turbo back zorst pod FMIC fuel pump & surge tank standard ECU (no piggys) 12psi
  18. i havent heard anything yet. I havent been driving much but i have put some mesh in front of FMIC to stop the attention. In the process of getting an airbox to fabricate over my pod. Neighbour is going to lend me his standard BOV if the EPA make me submit my car. Dont know wat im gonna do bout my boost controller though?
  19. went around to the pig shop today to ask the kuntstable what is going to happen. he was there but wouldnt talk to me, i ask why? cos he doesnt have too. I was told im on the wrong side of the law, deal with it? Coppers are f**ked up. There attitude is all wrong. when i got picked up the other day i was in a hurry on my way to a job interview. since i have heard i was unsuccessful with the job interview. might of been cos i was late??? maybe cos a dikless copper who i could snap in an instant had nothin better to do. Its good to see our tax paying money at work!!!
  20. 1300 isnt that expensive. alot goes into preparing a kit to be sprayed. alot of sanding, filling etc. i had a front bar and sides skirts painted for $450 but i did all the prep work saving heaps but it took hrs of time. u might be able to get it down to 1k but your getting a whole kit done
  21. driving on the hume hwy today got pulled over. Copper asks me to pop the bonnet and defects me on having FMIC and pod filter, (Can't have both), turbosmart boost-tee controller, turbosmart type 2 BOV and the mounting of my number plate. They didn't give me any paper work, put a sticker on my car or fine me. All they said was u might hear from the EPA in a cpl of weeks. They said i can drive the car for now. What happens now? They said the closest EPA is in McLoed and I live in Wodonga(real convenient.) over 3 hrs away. So does this mean everytime a cop wants to be a prik, he defects me and i have to go to EPA and get trivial stuff tested.

  24. Ive got a series 1 r33 gtst front bar for sale. Its black and in good condition. Comes with indicators aswell. After $220 for bar and indicators. Located in Albury/Wodonga and Melbourne aswell
  25. I;m interested in the same bar. The one on the black s1 looks insane. Jetspeed sent me a quote of $460 for this bar. Dont think I can do better than that for such a hard to find bar. Let us know if you find anywhere cheaper
