  1. Man I swear to god I saw your car a month or so ago. She was parked out near Harbor town near some tyre place. I remember the night before I was snooping around this thread and when I saw it I went off my nut at the coincidence.
  2. I said I'm doing that. Grabbing one out of an R34 (obviously a non-turbo, as I said). It'll be way cheaper than getting it removed.
  3. Yeah, I ended up finding a document saying that it just can't disrupt your view. I think you're right, a red interior with white parkers would work out well. Cheers There sure are. I'm just going to try for an exemption (which I'm 99% not going to get). If I don't, screw it, I'll just unbolt my engine, sell it, and buy a NEO RB25 (non-turbo).
  4. Yeah, I'm not too interested in putting a hundred gauges all over the place. For the colour, I'd totally go with red, but I HATE clashing colours. Kinda OCD about it. Everything has to be nice and matching. Then again, it's going to be hell difficult to hook myself up with a pink boost gauge if I decide to go down that path. Red/white gauges would be easy, though.
  5. So long story short a few weeks ago my parents forked out 9k and bought me an R33 GTS-T for my 17th. Great condition car, ect, ect. It's paintjob has caused me to scratch my head over the last few weeks, though. Let me just throw it out there, it's magenta with blue pearl. Yep, so pretty much hot pink. I wasn't too keen on it when I first saw photos, but when I saw it in person I just couldn't get over it. Definitely a head-turner, a real attention seeker. (Sadly though, I bet it will catch the police's attention.) Anyway, enough about my explanation into why a guy bought a pink car. I'm going to be carrying out minor styling mods like instrument cluster LEDS, interior lights, parking lights and gauges because I can't stand the old factory look. First question: In your honest opinion, do you think it would be too far to change these lights to match the colour of my car?? Thinking about it I'd like to, but of course I'm cautious of what people might think. I can't change them to blue - that's too different, it wouldn't suit. Can't go white either, IMO that's too plain. Second: What is the legality behind mounting aftermarket gauges? Where am I allowed to and not allowed to mount them? Thanks heaps, fellas. Look forward to becoming a part of the community and all that. Kai
  6. Already got a BOV, boys.
  7. Only just purchased a R33 GTS-T. So I have come to realize my revs drop down strangely low. It usually sits around 500, but sometimes drops down to 300 and yesterday it stalled on me. Was wondering if this is atypical, what is it meant to be sitting on, and what do I do about getting it fixed up? Thanks, Kai
  8. So I bought an R33 GTS-T the other day. Really well taken care of, had all the work done to it, 103k's on the clock. Anyway, it's got an aftermarket heavy duty clutch. While I'm cruising around and I try to shift (With my clutch definitely all the way in) I can hear this disgusting grinding sound. Pretty sure it only really happens between my 2nd to 3rd shift. Yeah, pretty vague information, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kai
