  1. Beautiful. I envy the garage let alone the cars in it!
  2. Makes a good arm rest that console does.
  3. Again ill point out its harder to get a license now than it ever has been. The issue is the people that got their license back in the day.
  4. Oh sorry yeah didn't mention that, remove the 80km/h speed limit. It is flat out dangerous having cars on a freeway doing 30km/h faster than you are.
  5. I don't know if training is the issue. I dunno it's hard. It has never been harder to get your license in NSW, remember that. Older generations had it MUCH easier back in the day. At the moment Learner drivers are required (in NSW) to drive 120 hours logged. Now imagine if you had twins. That is pretty much impossible to complete those hours driving, and no wonder people fake the hours. I think it isn't the time needed, but the way it is taught. You can do 120 hours and never drive on a freeway. People have their license having never driven 110km/h. They spend all their hours doing the same trip to school each day. So maybe slightly less time (because as i said, 120 hours for parents to teach the kids is hard enough as it is) driving time, and slightly more focused training. Personally i think it should be: 80 hours logged driving on the road (with proof of different speed zone driving) 20 hours completed in a compulsory defensive driving program, including wet weather driving and brake lockup tests. This will teach people what to do when they lose traction, and when they do have to slam the brakes on. They will know how the car will behave. The amount of accidents i have seen caused because people forget/don't know you pretty much lose all steering when you are on the brakes that could have been avoided. I mean at the end of the day when you have people in 2+ ton cars traveling at 100+km/h people will always die, it's going to happen unfortunately. But i don't think focusing on speeding is the right thing to do. And at the same time, it doesn't matter how much training someone has, if they are going to do dumb shit in a car you will make a mistake at some point. So what do you do for all the people that deliberately speed/drift bro? It doesn't matter what the speed limit is those people will do it anyway. So it is a very though decision. How many deaths on our roads are caused by "accidents" and how many are caused by negligence (being a f**kwit, not just speeding either)? I would like to see that statistic. I know they have it for motorbikes... Something like 70% of fatal bike accidents are caused because the rider was being a dickhead, rather than a car pulling out on them as an example.
  6. The intake sensor is on the fan. The fridge no idea.
  7. But the advertisement said it was never boosted?
  8. If i'm getting the rear diff rebuilt award will do it. thoughhhhh if i do that Ill get Ultimate to pull the rear diff and gearbox out and ill take them down in the cube. $$ ads up quickly.
  9. Standard battery does fit. I'm just not using one. Sorry I meant the vac line for the fpr. Yeah might get a longer one and just tuck it. As for the gearbox if I have to drop it, for $900 I'll just rebuild it. And as for rear diff again nothing wrong with a rebuild just thinking if I'm doing it I may as well do it properly.
  10. Oh and yeah the clutch is fine. Though when i do the gearbox ill be replacing it with a nismo twin.
  11. Cause everything i've read says the quaife is better.
  12. i was leaning towards the gearbox TBH. The rear diff is looking tired, but it's still ok. In saying that these gearboxes will crunch for years with no issues haha
  13. I'll tell you what, you give me the car and ill spend all the money on it.
  14. I'm still doing short term oil changes, will swap to a genuine filter when it's been driven a bit more. Next order ill order another nismo sock for the oil filter.... Also looking into options for the battery. Possibly a stand+enclosure welded up.... at the moment it's literally propped up with wood hahahaha Few questions... The black fuel line that runs over the plenum.. Should i braid that for the lulz? Also considering either braiding or getting one of the old school greddy hard pipes for the top Rad hose...??? I finally managed to get my hands on a decent condition optioned up foot rest, and i didn't have to pay drug (nismo) money for it. Pretty stoked. When that arrives that means the interior is pretty much done. Unless as stated above i want a nismo cluster and/or the optioned knee pads..... Gearbox has a slight crunch 4th syncro. Or new diffs? !!
  15. 50k for a 20 year old car.... Yep...... Apparently people are stupid enough to pay it.
  16. I recently used a Daikei boss kit on my 32 for my nismo steering wheel. One of the more expensive options... But it is a very nice bit of kit.
  17. Nah white set won't suit my interior at all. I might one day replace it with a nismo cluster. I dunno. Not really fussed about that one.
  18. uhhhhh i think they were from probolt yes...... Honestly can't remember. I think all of the red bolts/nuts are from probolt. Except the ones on the guards.
  19. Cluster and foot rest are the only 2 interior items left..... Unless i want the knee pads as well. But i don't.
  20. Back and had a quick bath and i was testing a detailing method. Took a quick snap.
  21. As the GTR sits as of yesterday. Engine bay is getting there now! almost done. Needs a good clean.
  22. Oh and as the engine bay currently stands.
