  1. every damn time Terry!
  2. By then a 12xx series will be out. 1180ti or 1260/70/80 will be out. Just replace the card. SLI still isn't worth the dosh for the upgrade. Though G-Sync does fix a lot of the issues SLI had it still is far from perfect.
  3. you'd have to check your setup properly, as you are using a PCI-E M2 SSD you may not have enough channels to SLI.
  4. No mans sky is poorly coded. Your PC should feel lovely man, and with a good 144hz G sync monitor for gaming it will be so smooth. Realistically you should get 4-5 years out of the processor and stuff. GPU maybe 2 years, it depends on what the gaming industry does. I'm expecting to upgrade my GPU around late next year.
  5. Basically the 1070 can't do 4k properly at the moment. maybe 30-40fps?
  6. 28" is 60hz @ 4k 27" is 144hz @ 1080 Personally i would go the 27" 144hz @ 1080. 144hz feels A LOT nicer to use even in windows. There is also less strain on the gaming system having to put out 1080 over 4k. That 1070 will struggle a bit on top end games at 4k.... I won't go back to sub 144hz again.
  7. Shouldn't have any issues with the EVGA, they make amazing PSU's.
  8. nice! i'm still rocking a G19 lol
  9. Honestly you won't get a better monitor than the one i linked for the size/price. Considering it was something i got for myself i did loads of research, and it is brilliant.
  10. The one you linked is a 144hz?
  11. I think Mwave have it cheaper than PC Casegear. If you are getting a new Monitor get a G-Sync. They are well worth the money
  12. I just got this (literally 2 weeks ago) and it is fantastic for gaming. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/31877/acer-xb270h-g-27in-g-sync-144hz-gaming-monitor
  13. Installed my new Samsung Pro M2 in my mini ITx build. It's fantastically fast. You will love it man.
  14. Like i said Mwave did it to my for my new GSink monitor. I told them to either accept the payment or ill buy it elsewhere.
  15. MWave did that to my when i bought a monitor recently. I told them to cancel the order and paid through Paypal. I don't even know if that is legal TBH. Tell them no and see what happens.
  16. Benches very well (as expected) Virtual Benchmarks Gaming 120% UFO Desktop 115% UFO Workstation 72% Battleship
  17. Ill do a V Benchmark for you on this PC, see how it performs. Give me a min.
  18. Also Kaby Lake processors got "announced" today, slated for end of the year they are about a 5-10% increase on the current lineup.
  19. Yep good point. Mushkin make a good cheap SSD but only newegg sell it. http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226596&cm_re=mushkin-_-20-226-596-_-Product Shows they are coming down in price.
  20. Good build mate! My only suggestion is to consider swapping the Samsung Pro M2 for one of the new Intel 1TB SSD. For not much more you can get a 1TB m2. It is slightly slower read though. I will be putting one in my Mitx build shortly. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/36615/intel-600p-series-1tb-m-2-ssd
  21. New Intel PCI-E M2's announced. Not quite as good as the Samsungs but my god they are cheap!
  22. Black R33 on Horse Park Drive this morning at like 7.20. Was following it in the Cube.
  23. The new Corsair C15 3000Mhz ram is quite well received.
  24. ... not much difference? K mate.
  25. I was merely pointing out it doesn't make sense. You skimp out on a processor (the most important part of a computer) and throw on one of the best coolers on the market? I understand "you love your H100" but come on mate, there is no logic there. And i understand "cooling is subjective" and it would be, on a CPU that required it... But you picked a 6500. If you had picked a 6700k i would have agreed with you. Call bullshit all you want regarding my OC. The last PC i built for myself was in late 2009, it had a I7 870 2.93Ghz in it. Now fast forward to October 29, 2013. Since then i have upgraded the Ram to go from 4GB - 16Gb and i have a new GPU the GTX 570. Significance of October 29? Battlefield 4 released. Now my problem was this game really pushed my CPU, and i was bottlenecking hard (massive framerate drops). A day Overclocking at it was up to 4.2GHZ (alas i needed a new cooler) and i used that PC until about 6 months ago and i built my new mini ITX PC. That CPU is still going strong at 4.2GHZ in a photoshop PC. So i will say again, it shows lack of knowledge. The CPU is the 1 thing you can't upgrade down the track without building basically a whole new PC. Overclocking can be very useful for getting a bit more time out of it. Now i'm not saying the 6500 is a bad CPU, it still outperforms my old 870. But i would put it in a PC i was budgeting $1600 for... Not a $2200+ PC. And to be honest, the 1060 is again a card for a $1600 build, not a $2200+ build. Your budgeting is out. And then you throw a 1TB SSD in there after skimping on the most important parts? A HDD is literally the easiest thing you can add later after you fill yours. Your money was in the wrong spots. I called you out on it, because, bad advise.
