Apple is the America of the tech industry. They just want to be different. NO logical reason for it. They just do it. Oh also money everything they do is for max gain profit wise. Hence a new iphone every 12 months. Hence now a new charger so people have to buy all new acces. No reason for it. They did it because they could. But hey. Look at apples shares, people are waking up to the fact and the company is in quite a bit of trouble if it keeps going the way it is. If it keeps falling how it is the company will be bankrupt in the next 5-10 years.

Really you shouldn't have many problems at all i wouldn't bother. I am YET to be pulled over in the GT-R and when i owned an N/A r32 on red P's in NSW i used to get pulled over every second night. They never bothered to defect me for a POD unboxed. i mean it might happen every now and then but i wouldn't bother. If you get defected just fix it and swap it back its pretty easy.

you forget one thing. Evo's are newer. Much newer. the maintenance cost for a good one is much lower than a GT-R esp a 32.

Goodluck, i hope you dont go through the pain i had too. It's going to hit a 20k rebuild in january... Mine WAS stock till it went puff. head gasket, cracked pistons and shattered valves. Had to do a complete bottom and top end rebuild. Hence i went all out and put slightly bigger pistons in, upgraded the fuel system etc. had it back for a week and blew a turbo (i was a noob and didn't bother replacing the stock turbos yet) as i didnt have the cash to replace them at the time. Back in it went. Put -7's in it. Picked it up last night. Still running wastegate as im still running the engine in but should be a bit of fun when i can give it a bit..
