    Some of you will know my GTR but i thought id re post an update as it's back from Ultimate tune with from a full engine rebuild. Unfortunately when i got it back the sun decided to hide behind a cloud the moment i got it out so it doesn't show the blue fleck in the clear coat well. It's nice having a car back in the shed again.

    Put it this way. i paid 13k for mine and the engine blew up in 4 months. 18k later its a fully resprayed/rebuilt gem. Save up the extra cash mate and get one thats worth buying. Just my 2 cents. Edit: im picking mine up today with the new -7's installed!

    Cutting a hole and mounting does require an engin cert. Cops have tried to defect my GTR that came stock with FMIC... It really does suck. The cops in ACT currently have a hate where you "can't have an FMIC and a BOV" it's one or the other. I mean seriously what the hell? i mean im ALL for safety in cars. But some times its a bit silly me thinks. In saying that goodluck with getting it all sorted!

    Can P Platers drive turbo cars in NSW now? fark i missed out. I think my N/A 32 when i was in NSW was like $600 a year for third party fire and theft and i was the only nominated driver. Then i moved to ACT and could have a turbo car and bought a GTR they wanted $4000 a year to insure that for comprehensive. Off my P's now though and with a no claim bonus im paying $1600 a year comprehensive.

    I might add that last year i got my GTR dynod at autotech and it pulled 215KW as stock on 12psi. Before it went kaput.... my tune is costing $570 including the ECU install. i don't know if thats Ult tunes standard rate though as ive just spent close to 18k there....

    Im getting my GTR tuned by Ult tunes early Jan. Ill let you know how it goes when it does get done... expecting probably 330 ish around that mark. But im going to get a very safe tune. 1 Engine rebuild is enough for me lol....
