    uhh following that logic unless your car is a genuine nismo edition it doesn't matter how many nismo parts you put on it, it still isn't a nismo skyline. That would be like putting an Rb26 and 4wd in a GTT and you put a GTR badge on it, it's still a GTT. In saying that i don't think there is any issues with putting nismo badges on a skyline if it's what you like. It's your car do whatever you want with it, put nismo badges on it and be happy.

    i actually spotted a few last week, saw a 33 in fyshwick at the traffic lights near CMC. had white? front bar i think. Back end was black. The GTR will be out an about over the next few months, floating between the gungahlin area and the airport.

    Went for some good drives last night, the new tune is fantastic. After 7 years it finally feels as it should.

    Haha im just poking fun. Alas my comment in that i agree that most of the time its just a sticker. I was just saying i didn't want a stroked motor, i'm not chasing HP. Nor did i want another motor that is over 20 years old in my car. After going through everything to get said "new" condition motor, i would have just bought a nismo motor and been on the road within a day. TBH what's the point of stroking a 2.6? Just do an Rb30. Hell Stroke that. Either way getting a "new" motor costs quite a bit of dosh.

    Isn't just "A nismo sticker" all you get with any nismo item? Yes. But at the price nismo motors are, hell they have been discontinued and you can still get them for 25k in Australia let alone bring one in. I would have saved myself 10 months worth of rebuild time, and all the little niggling issues i have had to deal with.

    "when it's time to pull the motor" This dude knows GTR's haha I've done 2 full rebuilds and there are still a couple of things that are "next time the motor comes out" I'm honestly surprised you don't just buy a nismo crate motor. If i had my time again i would have just done that.

    the feeling i get from Nvidia and AMD is that SLI / CF just was not worth it. It will stay around for mining machines but for games it was just too difficult to get working most of the time, and even then game developers would have to write specifically for SLI. So you would just have people spend more time getting it to work than the 30% gain you got.

    Looking fantastic mate, you are the only other person i have seen use the Nismo wrist bands to cover the reservoir. I think it's quite a nice touch. My next one will be to see if i can get my spare sit of nismo handle protectors from my cube to fit the GTR. What catch can setup are you running? i assume nismo but i can't see it, though i could have missed it. You battery looks out of place! You should Plasti dip the bottom of the battery (the white part) black and it will blend in heaps better. I even painted both reservoirs black in my car, and taped up a strip that isn't painted so you can see the water level. But it would be a shame to do that to brand new items!

    Go massive flares, do a giant burnout to ruin the new rubber you have, hit a gutter and destroy those rims. Buy new larger rims and rubber. You're welcome, I'm a solutions man.

    Stuck with 98 for now. I'm going to put a frenchys performance in tank setup on it. Will do e85 again after that.
