I know how it feels mate, a few years ago I had my series 8 RX7 stolen from Officeworks in Artarmon... One week after I bought it, with no insurance.....I was f*ken spewing... Luckily I had taken it to the drags a few days earlier and destroyed the clutch, and whoever stole it drove it into an underground carpark in rhodes and then couldn't get it back up the ramp... Eventually I got a call and went and towed it out, but I was devo for a few weeks. Goodluck with it mate....at least it's insured but

Powder coating is only rated to something like 150 degrees, your best bet for engine parts is ceramic coating.

So Im currently installing a surge tank and 044 in the boot of my 33 but these two ECU things are in the way. Any idea what they are? My car came with the A-LSD, so Im guessing one of these controlls that maybe... Can I take any of these out or should I just relocate them?

anyone in Sydney should speak to Competition Coatings in guilford.... Search for Compcoat in google to find them.. They ceramic coated my turbo, intake and exhaust manifolds, rocker covers, throttle body and cooler piping.... The car isnt back together yet but here is a pic so far....

yeah well I have still got the hose with the one way valve attached, but I think there was an o-ring or something in the hole before that held it in there. Maybe it broke when we were removing it? Anyone know where I can buy a new one?

Sooo happy I paid my deposit a couple of days ago hahaha would have spewed if I missed out

R33... and I find it wears the left hand side heaps more because its mainly right handers..

so where exactly does that line that comes out the side of the rocker cover go? Also, when I got my rocker covers ceramic coated I think the guys took out the o-ring or whatever it was that was in there... is there anything else I can use to connect that line with the one way valve?

Pulled a few parts out of my S2 R33 & replaced for aftermarket stuff. A-LSD Vspec Diff comes with reservoir and pump - $300 Factory turbo setup on stock manifold with dump pipe (turbo in shmick condition, minimal shaft play and no oil blow through)- $400 Stock Radiator - $50 Monza Intercooler (few bent fins but no leaks) - $50 may even have a complete piping set as well for an extra cost. Factory Inlet Manifold - $150 Factory Injectors - $150 This stuff would be great for someone looking to turbo a GTS or something. Call me on 0407101066 Im in Kogarah NSW.

Ok so can anyone tell me what I should have plugged into the Vac nipples on the underside of the plenum? Im thinking BOV, Rocker cover breather, FPR...... What am I missing?

Thought Id post up some of my progress with my R33 that Im building as a street registered drift car. Bought it a few months ago, pretty stock and am building it from there. First up was a new steering wheel, gear knob and drift handbrake button. Since my gtst came with the vspec A-LSD diff which wasn't going to cut it for drifting, it was next to go. I bought a regular gtst diff and shimmed it up for the time being, while I was at it I put in a few adjustable suspension arms and a hicas lock bar. At the moment I have started with some power upgrades. - Hypergear SS3-EG turbo with billet wheel - 6Boost turbo manifold - 50mm Turbosmart gate - Greddy Intake manifold - ID1000 Injectors & Billet Fuel rail - Oil Filter relocation & 19 row oil cooler - Aluminium Radiator Once I got the turbo and manifolds I sent it all off to get ceramic coated, and decided to do something different and go gold. Today I bolted everything together, rocker covers and throttle body are off getting ceramic coated. Next its off to the exhaust shop to get the dump pipe and a removable screamer/plumb back pipe and turbo oil feed line made up. Then its off to Toshi for a tune on E85. At the moment Im going to go for dual maps, eventuallyI I might do the whole flex fuel setup. Stay tuned for more updates and pics.... When I first got it... Out on the wet track... Bolt ons....

Anyone?? How is the battery wired to ground from factory?
-
Yeah I still go through tyres on the wet ey. At your last event I went through a set of rears and smashed the sidewalls of my fronts.
