  1. Long Island Ice Teas - memories of Adz and Nath and the morning after! Bec - is this the place that is like a house where James had his 30th?
  2. LOL @ Vegetarian Hat :laughing-smiley-014: Seems my eye for one colour Veyron's let me down this time though
  3. I spy a one colour Veyron...................
  4. GTIRR - Andrew found his wife carrying shopping and Flash found his overweight dog in the driveway. Saff - Barge from the carpark next door parked out the front of the apartment.
  5. Do you mean degrees? If so, that is not correct to progress in IT to senior management and upwards. I dont know any friends (IT Managers, CIO's and CTO's) who will hire anyone without a degree as a minimum. So many people are keen to get into IT and come from different backgrounds that at least the benchmark can be raised by selecting with that criteria. A degree demonstrates a lot aside from the qualification that employers requesting it will be well aware of.
  6. Nice blue 32GTR G**GTR on the Monash inbound. Turned off at Toorak Rd about 11.15am today.
  7. Illegal and technically shouldnt pass a roadworthy road test.

    Radar Guns

They can get you whilst moving in either direction (coming towards you or from behind). How much there would be to contest with oncoming is something I am not familiar with though.
  9. Sorry its late but Happy Birthday mate, hope you had a good one
  10. I concur. Having done my research, this answer is on the money. The other misinformation he would like to spread is the spelling of "paedophile" in his avatar. Will be getting mine soon and have a funky case that attaches to the windscreen to utilise the GPS functionality while driving.
  11. If you compete in some SAU track days, you can buy them as a member of SAU $10 I think Edit - Bec is your lady to see BTW.
  12. Thanks to the grey 32 GTR that let me out on Burke Rd tonight. Very nice car, was about 5.45pm
  13. Drove past this a couple of months back and did a u-turn to look through. Was on a Saturday and the guys in there were giving us funny looks. Heaps of nice cars though
  14. Nail on the head as to why an iPhone is a wise purchase. ^^ I remember seeing a few apps on Aaron and Sarah's phones that really got me thinking. This is why I want one
  15. Lots of Lamborghini's at the dealership on the strip in Vegas, SLR, Silver Rolls Royce Phantom at my hotel, F40, 599 GTB, Bugatti Veyron, Saleen, GT40 etc. Was a cool day Heaps of pics on my facebook and quite a few not put up
  16. This thread has to be in the nominations at the end of the year, laughed hard reading it! Rossco, Big Bird and Funky! LOL I like others didnt realise Ash even owned a car until late last year when I stumbled across a picture in album of Dee's I think that was posted on here. Since then I have seen it at Benno's a couple of times but is great to have it finally completed. I would sell it now though Look forward to seeing Ash behind the wheel of a car and also his
  17. Will have been just over 3 weeks, 2 more nights then the flight back.
  18. I have been looking at the first gen ones over here at San Francisco, New York and now Vegas. They are fun and due to the time difference, they come out here in a few hours. From the research I have done, the ones in the US (3G ones not the 1st Gen), won't currently work back in Oz. There is also no prepaid one available here at launch unlike Oz. I am sure someone will get around it like the first one but it seems you have to provide a social security number and sign up to an AT&T (the provider here) plan when you buy it. Price wise, it isnt much different to Oz so little to gain. For those interested, this is on the Heraldsun site with regards to plans as an insight. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...6-11869,00.html They have heaps of cases and accessories for them here so have bought a funky case that has a sucker to stick on the window for the GPS. G/f has bought a Paul Frank case that looks like a wallet.
  19. Will be at this one, get back on Monday. Might bring the new toy down too..
  20. Awesome find! I used to spend a lot of time on sites like 28dayslater.co.uk which were slightly different in that most were adandoned but were sites from yesteryear. I knew quite a few of my local ones. Has some cool things like hidden tunnels, secret London underground stations from the war etc. Can spend hours on there but is more of an urban exploration site.
  21. I bought a place just over 2 years ago and held off getting another fun car until I had. That way I could work out my disposable income each month but even with that, I still over calculated slightly which was largely down to fuel. It is tough not having a nice car but have a pile of bricks because to look at and to live in you could be renting and for a lot less. If you are buying, you need to buy well though if you want to make money from it. It is a maturity thing as well like Paul has touched on, not everyone is ready for a mortgage which is fine. The Herald Sun had an artical only about 3 weeks ago on how many people of our generation had little or no intention of buying property but instead living life partying. In answer to the question, it is tough but can be made easier by choosing a location where you can walk to amenities and if you have mates living close by. Just down to priorities in life Edit - Be very careful doing what Madevo3 is suggesting above ^^ Example - Dont increase you loan by 30K over the life of the mortgage otherwise you are paying the 30K at 8% interest (if rates stay the same) for 30 years. If you want to do this and you will need equity in the property to do it (remember anything over 80% equity is mortgage insurance), then do it for the life you would get a normal loan over e.g. 5 years. Needs careful thought and rigid planning with payments as it would be all too easy to put that 30K over 30 years so you are paying interest for that period on it which will amount to something quite huge.
  22. This was my first track day weekend, courtesy of a passenger ride with Snowcone. Memories - Scott in the TX5 breaking down part way around Winton, pulling on to the grass in the middle and a ute high tailing it across to move him, only for Scott to move on and get back on the track. Looked like a chase from where we were sitting in slow motion due to the water logged grass. Blaise and Bris marking the bitumen! Blaise bouncing across the water logged grass after over shooting one corner Aaron Rampant mooning and taking a photo of his ass in front of Mav and I walking back to the hotel!!! I went up twice in 05, July and some other month. July was when Dan (Blaise's mate from WA with the yellow Evo) was over and a lot of entertainment ensued including Ash's 3 generations of the same family and "I'l Shiv Ya" Memories
  23. Who is this Khunjeng character you speak of?!! Happy Birthday mate, have a good one
  24. Organise some pics Scottish, you can't be that busy surely! (joke btw!). Not my request also
  25. Some mate you have making 50c from you! r.e. magnetic ones, could be worth looking elsewhere, even overseas. Back when I got my licence over 10 years ago, they had a white magnetic plate with a green P on it in the UK. This was purely optional and designed to let other road users know you were a new driver. There may be reversed ones that you can get if not available here or from the UK but elsewhere, they were the same font and size but "technically" are not Aussie issued ones so could be done for them if an officer was adhering to the letter of the law.
