Please Help! Vic R34 Gtr Engine # Doesn't Match?!?!
saff_cossie replied to Phatboy's topic in Victoria
Dave is right, it will be on the block also. Try the front to start with underneath the cams but if not either side by down through the gaps. Found this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/N1...umber+R34+where It might pay to use the software some of the guys have access to on here, think it is nissfast. Can you PM me the car out of interest please. Don't worry not going to buy it instead! -
Big thanks to the organisers for another great event. Was a lot of fun once the traction control was turned off! Some good battles in the afternoon with some very close results. Last night was awesome and as always, met new people and had lots of fun. Award for the hardest drinker last night goes without a doubt to GTIRR........

The Evo handbrakes the best out of all cars I have driven and been in. Will jump in and show you if you want on one of the morning sessions so it doesnt stuff your times up. <------ -

While there is no right or wrong resume, that one is a good size for mid level management roles (which I suspect he is leaning towards). Chasing level 1 helpdesk roles wouldnt require that much but in a day and age where plenty of people are skilled, defining the specifics makes or breaks to interview stage. I have friends who are CTO's and CIO's who have 12-14 page resumes which are commanded by employers at that level for 200K+ roles. Definately no issue with the size though for that type of role and Paul's experience. If it is a bit of feedback session though, there isnt anything personal on there which can sell a lot and help fit you with an organisation's culture. E.g your role on the committee shows dedication, teamwork, responsibility, organisation etc. I always take my DOB off too, gets a lot more attention much to my surprise. Email addresses for your references (is IT after all) I assume you still have your dodo email address as they are your ISP even though you left their employment Technically, it is a very good and clear resume

Not sure on vision impairment but I am sure I read somewhere about a wing protruding from the width of the car could be. E.g if the sides of it are further out than the guards. Not sure if that was in Oz though.

Yeah but it has been more than 12 months so that is a given....... Did you get them back as a direct result of contesting it

If you do it, be careful if you currently use Xbox Live. It doesnt like it. My mate and I experimented with switching hard disks, sign in ID's etc to test after he had his done. Incidently, mine is for sale if anyone is interested. Shameless plug I know but includes 2 controllers, 1 remote, PGR3 game and very minimal playing time. Have the original box too.

I like this part. Currently doing a full virtualisation at work and having to answer a lot of questions to an IT Manager who really has no idea and has hired an army of consultants. I keep frying him on technical questions in regards to the above which he really should have an overall understanding of. Will keep you in mind if we manage to flick him (keeps threatening to walk anyway so might not be long). Have done IT Manager so not desperate to do it again, happy doing Systems re-engineering and processes currently. Good luck mate

Well done SAU representative! Excellent result. Was watching RPM yesterday to see if there was any footage of him but just some annoying Aurion.

Out of interest, why is your plate side mounted? The 34 skyline has provision for it being centrally mounted and by the look of the bar in your picture (not sure whether it is stock or not), that also looks like it has provision. One of the key points from Ash's post was Daz's bar didnt have that. Would be interested to hear how Daz went too though.

Great work Jeff, was wondering if an update was coming. Signage is great, reminds me of Buzzin Hornets on the old Jordan F1's when tabacco sponsorship wasn't permitted a few years ago in Europe instead of Benson and Hedges. Shame about the retirements though.

Check all connections to the motherboard and peripherals internally Device drivers - sound, audio, wireless, network, USB I have had similar symptons on work PC's with dodgy connections/connections full of dust and not ventilating properly Interested to know what it turns out to be too.

At least now you can get the yellow VII when you find your licence.

I would advise signing up for your SAU Membership sooner rather than later. DECA for the uniniated - A day at DECA Shepparton using the skid pan and the back tracks. Traditionally (cannot speak for this one), the back track has two variations, Long Wang and Short Wang which are timed against the clock in the morning. The skid pan is single use in the morning against the clock (by single I mean not against other cars but a passenger is permitted provided they have either entered or signed a waiver). The morning is split into 2 groups with half doing the back tracks and half doing the skid pan, then rotate before lunch. <- This is the basketball court on the Long Wang The afternoon comprises or more "battle" type events with one car pitted against another on a run up the skidpan and back down again, kind of slalom type event. This takes us through from 9 until about 4.30-5.00pm. From there, we all meet up at Taco Bills for dinner and drinks before hitting the town. Hope this helps -
Is it an approved one for competition or for show? Quality looks good as Al says

At last, this week has been a nightmare with servers, PDA's and PC's that didnt/couldnt be patched.

^^ Very similar Cycling home and had a call on the mobile but was listening to music on it so didnt bother to answer. I get home and the girl from the apartment downstairs had called and she walks out of the garage door saying, I called about 20 mins ago. Then I get a message from the g/f reminding me that she has my keys at the time I am waiting there. Weird! BTW - HP doesnt get my vote by a long shot, ever!

Spotted James in the Pink Panther on Park St, South Melb tonight soon after 6pm. Grey 33GTST S2 a little further up near the roundabout on Park St M5 in black with a space saver so no top speed runs there!

Crazy weather, tree fell on someones car below my office window then an old bloke was out there with what looked like a pair of scissors trying to cut it free! Someone elses garage door was flapping around while the residents were trying to hold it down! The city vanished from view with the dust then when the rain came in at about 5pm, appeared like magic again from my office window.
