  1. Happy Birthday mate, have a great day. Catch you soon for a beer
  2. If things were different financially, possibly. I don't like buying new cars so would be more interested 6-12 months after release date so who knows, things could have changed by then.
  3. Is a very good looking car and I would gladly have one. Good to see they have kept the price consistent with the approximate release of the IX, unlike with the VIII that left a lot of VIII owners out of pocket. This has grown on me
  4. Hey B-Man Out: :laughing-smiley-014: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ro...th-t191843.html
  5. Good work, well done
  6. Go to your letter box......
  7. Happy Birthday dude, have a good one
  8. Happy Birthday mate, apologies for not making it last night. Was tucked up in bed early after that drive. Have a good one today and catch up with you soon

  10. I will start off with a quick post as I am off out. I left slightly earlier than the others and didnt stop for lunch so made about 2.5 hours on them so they are still journeying down the highway at the moment. Firstly, thanks to everyone who came and to Bec for organising the Wakefield accomodation at the 11th hour to just squeeze us in. Thanks to the VADG for the use of the tools and air compressor along with Scott for carrying the tyres, Mav for pit support crew including getting the semi comps put on the rims. We had a lot of fun and the only dampener (literally) was the weather but that did make for some interesting track time! Chris is officially insane driving the GTR along with Snowman from a couple of years ago, just goes to show the lengths a car needs to be driven at to be competitive. Thanks for the few laps of Wakefield. Highlights for me: No fences, paddock was securely locked this year Me heading to Canberra because the voice of Yoda on the GPS told me too (infact it cut a corner of the highway off but due to the stop/starting of junctions, put me out behind the main group!) Rowdy trying to climb the embankment in his car and us finding it there in the morning! Rowdy drinking 3 colours of tip water and plotting to steal another burger, only to find out it was Dan's but the pager was broken Rowdy's stories, endless supply of laughs Me spinning the car at Wakefield then again coming on the main straight in the pouring rain at Eastern Creek Was a great trip and awesome company. Lots of fun and look forward to the next I don't have many pics but I know Mav, Bec and Scott took plenty.

    Batleb?

LOL! Isnt this on a Sydney radio show where they talk about doing laps in the rexie? Sure I have heard the feature when up there with work. Very good though
  12. I have been to a few boat shows over the years and they never cease to amaze me. One of the guys on another forum I use is a full time Captain on a luxury cruiser running between the Med and the Caribbean that the big names charter. I went to uni just round the corner from where the Sunseeker factory is and saw some awesome boats taking shape over the years. The UK boat shows are largely dominated by Sunseeker (my personal favourite). Nice pics and what better place to own one

    Need Help

You are here on a defacto visa then?
  14. Sorry to hear and main thing is you are OK. The damage to the Audi doesnt look that costly or like it could have affected it too badly structually. Is it worse than it looks? At least you had 3rd party insurance too
  15. Who is with Bec, Chirs? Sounds like a drunken toast to me
  16. His 100k kms sounds like 200k kms because the seller said so, James was estimating the 100k kms initially by the sounds of it and after talking to him, confirmed it is more like double that. Cars came from the same parents, twins. Inspector Morse is leaving the post
  17. Group 2 please
  18. I see this car quite regularly, brings back fond memories of GOLGO (the original) and certainly doesnt look that high on kms. I think you really want to buy don't you but you want someone to tell you like the Ladas
  19. Thanks B
  20. sumting wong The Saturday spent at the DECA centre comprises of the skidpan in the morning with cone marked courses with one car at a time, then in the afternoon two cars run at a time on it (courses are narrower than the morning so each driver only uses his/her half of the skidpan). This is a good one to go up against mates although beating them is just for pride, the time is what counts. The Long and Short Wang are bitumen type tracks at the back that require a helmet and are one car at a time courses. Maps of the courses are provided on the day and available a few days before for download from here. Every event is timed by marshalls who are volunteers from SAU for the day and make the day what it is. Saturday night involves dinner and drinks at Taco Bills in Shep then onto a bar/strippers/KFC/Maccas/Riding coloured cows/whoring rides in local skylines/pushed home in a wheelie bin etc. Hope this answers it
  21. ^^ there are some ace pics from NSW in there amongst others!
  22. In for Wang on Tuesday night please too.
  23. Welcome to the forums. Definately join up SAU Vic as numerous events both car related and non are organised. Cruises/Motorkhanas etc to help you enjoy your car.
  24. Probably lives with his parents, I would have done that at 14 too, give the guy a break Good DPI printer by the look of it.
