  1. As a cheap and easy alternative, if you have the dosh lying around, why not put that under the engine bay to "bling it up". 20c coin style rocker cover and $2 coin turbo definately brings out the bling!
  2. I run the DS2500's and find them very grabby and noisy on cold but awesome once they have some heat in them. I think Danrex upgraded to these, maybe check with him (could be wrong). Did you upgrade the rotors too or just the pads?
  3. Just to warm you all up, my brother got back from a few weeks driving around Europe last week and on his travels stopped at Ocktoberfest. Here is his pic of a marquee.
  4. Thanks all, as James says, lovely weather out there. Nice cruisy day
  5. Does that make it any closer then! :laughing-smiley-014:
  6. Happy Birthday mate, have a good one
  7. I used to stalk the ladies, West used to stalk the ladyboys! :laughing-smiley-014:
  8. The subway under the Flinders St station.
  9. I recognise a few of the pics from my holiday there last year. We were at The Pennisula which was on the main river in Bangkok, then headed down to Pattaya Beach but were in the country for 3 days. Has been quiet without you!
  10. My Steve Parish atlas and ruler weren't overly acurate it seems! If thats the case, probably an idea to pass on it :laughing-smiley-014:
  11. After talking to Troy 2 weeks ago, I have been giving some thought to the trip up there. I don't have Monday off, just Wed, Thurs, Fri but am keen to make the most of Tues. My suggestion, we drive up Tues as originally planned but on Wednesday we take a trip up to Bathurst for the day (looks to be approx 1.5 hours max each way from Wakefield). This is somewhere I have never been but would like to and as ex cosworth owner, it holds particular significance for me as I am sure it does with many skyline owners. Would anyone be interested in that on the Wednesday?
  12. LOL! That looks a lot of fun!
  13. With a 32 you should be fairly safe but a lot depends on where you drive it, how you drive it and when you drive it. I have never been pulled over in my Evo in the 16 months I have owned it and nearly 50,000kms. I dont however drive it much at night and if I do its only short journeys locally. The cars are certainly still targetted, more so in some areas than others. I would say it will depend on how, when and where as above.

    Tosser

I would rather put them in his tyres He objected to me picking myself up off the floor and calling him a fu**en moron as he was about 40 and felt he has a superior status over me. So to add effect, I called him it again! Bloke is a punk and if I have to wait there for him, I will. He ran a cycle give way point and told me "accidents happen" as he picked himself up the floor and was about to cycle away until I prepared to chase after him! These are custom built radial spoked rims with XT hubs. Pic of scumbag's damage:
  15. Did send you a happy birthday on MSN yesterday morning but here is another anyway! Happy Birthday!

    Tosser

Maybe we need a generic tosser post that can be a sticky. Would also like to add that the Grade A Cock who rode into my bike on Monday and caused a fair bit of damage will be sought by me. I have his number but he won't answer it. I also have the lens from his prescription glasses which will have a hole drilled in it if he doesnt reply soon. Police after first telling me they will take care of it have now done a u bolt and told me to contact a solictor. Will call up and speak to the original policeman who actually sounded like he knew what he was talking about rather than "ya might want to call a solicitor mate" from the the other one and who wouldnt talk to me about it as the other one had spoken to me first!! GRRR!!! End of rant about tosser (idiot on a bike not the police BTW before anyone complains).
  17. Fark! I saw this on Sunday parked there and was saying how nice it was so assuming it was taken from the same place, know exactly where it was. It is only just up from where I was. That sucks and is all the more worrying because of the area. It is opposite a friends parents place they are renting which is how I noticed it (and being a skyline in brighton is slightly rare too) Hope it is found in one piece
  18. Another vote for Ray at R.E customs Thats where mine goes for dyno runs.
  19. Same as me. I have never needed it with my car and needed it once before on another car so from a cost point of view, it certainly hasnt paid for itself but is piece of mind. Remember those with 4wd's to notify RACV as they need to know for sending a flatbed and not a truck that just lifts the front wheels (technical name escapes me, Jack will know )
  20. Had an awesome day, not as quick as I had expected considering the mods done since June but nevertheless, enjoyed seeing some very quick times laid down by several cars and bikes. thebuzz - I am glad it wasnt me your g/f beat! I tried to choose my oposition carefully and limit it to rex's! Was also a much quicker field than June this time. I managed a 13.74 which was better than my 13.86 of last time. Was hoping for low 13's but didnt happen. I can feel the time it takes between gear changes which is too long and where I am losing most of my capable time. Great to see everyone again and well done to the organisers, thanks
  21. Stumbled accross a warehouse in Bentleigh packed with luxuries and exotics while taking a short cut back 2 weeks ago. Went back for a double take and looked like a Ferarri Scag parked out the front. Got a few funny looks from the people there so didnt hang around long.
  22. Are Wurth sponsoring him?
  23. Read this in the Herald Sun today along with the Evo X review.
  24. The onus is on the driver to know what they can and can't drive. Everyone knows that P Platers have some sort of restriction, it is even written on the back of every rego label I have had! If that isnt enough to spur people into researching what car they can drive on their P's, I don't know what is.
  25. This is very sad. I read it on the Herald Sun site yesterday before the second girl died. Another four families affected for the rest of their days by an idiot. RIP to those involved. The toll is 16 lower than this time last year but I doubt very much that has anything to do with publicity, probably more to do with the increase on the public transport network (think it said 30% in the last year, today).
