  1. A better idea than offering up rides would be to announce in the morning at the Driver Briefing, that they will be coming along and if any of them ask for a ride, they should be given priority for the reasons you have put. Then say to the Taco Bills staff, just to ask. Not everyone will know who they all are either unless they wear a t-shirt. I think it is great they are coming along so it would be good if they feel comfortable enough to ask
  2. Well done, nice pics and thanks for sharing
  3. Great tracks and names Chris, good work! I am just waiting for the Saturday afternoon and to hear you try and announce some of those event names!!
  4. LOL! Missed that one, yeah Mav and I are about the same build as Ash so as useful as t|ts on a bull for that exercise
  5. ROFL!!! I can just see little West there, wearing the singlet and throwing meat over the edge to help his buddy! :laughing-smiley-014: As for the question, If she is serious about you, she will come down with or without her mothers blessing. Its a tough call to make for her but I do know of some ethnic groups that are very home and familyl orientated. Tough call though and you definately don't need her mother in law making the long distance relationship any easier. She is probably just jealous as you are not a local boy up there she can hit on Hope you get it sorted.
  6. LOL Al is going to win this award again for best thread, I can see it! :laughing-smiley-014:
  7. Man that sucks, sorry to hear. I guess this is the less attractive side of owning rental property not often heard about. Hope you get it sorted and some good advice from West
  8. Does Leon even use the forums or is he just a paid member
  9. Cool, thanks for the info
  10. So the $2K ones will be cast then most likely? I had wondered what the significant price difference was for.
  11. Do you have a car and is your Saturday free too? If Saturday is free, come up to DECA and even better if you stay up the night and hit the town. Not sure what you are into but: If you have a car, there are lots of nice wineries in the Yarra Valley plus some great drives towards Marysville/Kinglake. The CBD has loads to see just from walking around and lots of small alleys with cafes/coffee shops. Grab a map from the hotel if you don't have your bearings already but from Crown, you can walk over the Yarra on the bridge that is in Ghost Rider which drops you on Flinders St. That is the CBD there so it is very close.
  12. That's his solicitors argument. Others differ and say they fled straight away. To make matters worse, it is reported that he was released on bail and given his passport back as a gesture of good will and he went and had a private jet sent over from the UK to get him. He was busted trying to board it in Macedonia! Thats from one of the tabloids out of the UK not the usual crap The Sun spins.
  13. Article on the Herald Sun site didnt paint a very good picture of the attacker, with two prior charges!
  14. Aaron from Rampant may have a set to test? This was one of the designs I was looking at for mine as they are nice wheels

  19. After a little more rational thinking in the light of day, lets say the Todd Rd Services city bound (i.e NOT the one on the side before you hit the Westgate but the one you go into as soon as you come over the Westgate. There are several ways into it without going over the Westgate but it at least puts us at the bottom of the ramp up to the Tulla. 4pm for a 4.15 departure there
  20. DECA in auto GTR = Lots of fun * Gareth has to be one of the funniest unsung heros this club has. Next meeting you should come and give a speech! A genuine funny funny guy who is a man of few words. These words will stay with me for years "show us ya taco!"
  21. 1 year is for the running away and not assisting with medical help part. He hasnt been proven on the accident part which if he is, faces a subsequent 8 years.

  23. Difficult to know from just engine/front end. Wasnt sure if you meant it was vibrating through the gearstick. There are a few 33 GTR owners on here so hopefully one of them can help or at least point you to someone who may be able to look at it. Benno from Racepace is a popular choice but there a several members with preferred workshops local to them.
  24. Where is the vibration coming from, roughly?
  25. Congrats on the purchase. I purchased my Evo from these guys, they are excellent and the vehicle has been faultless in 1 year of ownership and over 34,000kms. Straight talking, no bull Aussies who I understand. Good service and a happy SSV customer here
