Is a good point and I kept my eyes open today. Spotted a silver stock looking one on coming off the freeway onto Kings way this evening, they are center mounted. Whether that was a ADM I'm not sure but was stock from the outside.

This is a fairly common thing on the Evo forums, could be worth a search on there as I know it has come up. www.evolutionoz.net They have had links to Vic Roads etc. 3 points seems a bit harsh though.

Sorry to hear mate and it sucks when you are just trying to help someone. Another reason I dont stop unless required by law or absolutely have to. Have had my wallet and phone stolen when my car was broken into and the inconvienence is a nightmare.

Are you sure it is just 6 months you will lose it for now, not 12? BTW - Got a fine through on the 22nd Dec, appealed it after all the public holidays so will see what happens but as others have said, don't pay the fine if you are going to appeal.
