41K is way to high for a VII. I would be looking between 33-36. I paid 36K for mine back in early June and know of several others for the price window mentioned. 41K would be getting you an VIII MR roughly. HTH

So the problem is you want a 96/97 skyline for $15.5K? Most people will move on price if you are a serious buyer. If you are PMing them with offers like that on here, you might not get much response. If I were you, I would be going to some private sellers who are pitching their car around the 16-18K mark and see what they say. That price from what I know would be the bottom of the 96/97 market which could be why you are struggling. As Dezz says, that is a GTR so if you are planning on making it look like that, get a GTR to start with as the GTST lines and "hips" that look good on that car, aren't on the GTST.

Mine was about 160 on a 4 door sedan about 18 months ago. That was an SAU group buy and done to a very high standard.

Saw this on the news earlier but didnt know whether to post it up or not. They showed the plates too from the front. Not much left of it but looked like a Silver 33 GTR to me.

I am running DBA4000's all round with Ferodo DS2500 pads and the squeal horrendously. I am not too bothered as the originals squealed a bit so am used to it. Main thing for me was it wasnt causing damage or metal on metal.

What are you being extremely picky on? Maybe list what you are looking for as with the hundreds of skylines out there for sale, nationwide, there must be one that fits your needs? If not, have you thought about importing?

That's not an excuse mate. Mine tried the same so spent several Sunday afternoons around Port Melbourne with her. Hey Presto, she can now drive a manual! My g/f wants a new mini so the deal was she had to get a manual one (she likes the way they are driven in The Italian Job). I also need her current car for my cycling as the seats in the Evo don't fold down. She spent 3 years telling me she couldnt drive a manual and couldnt co-ordinate the pedals etc too. Don't give in to Auto pressure is my 2c. Be patient and find somewhere quiet and nice on a Sunday and she will pick it up.

Car looks a mess mate One tip I was given with a roo is never to brake. This is specific to heavy braking as it dips the nose of the car and could scoop the roo up which could come through your windscreen. I wouldnt fancy one of them in the car kicking away trying to get out! Obviously if there is time to safely brake, ignore the above! I am not condoning mowing down native creatures intentionally.

Ah yes, I remember them now. I think I need around +30 offset or something not too disimilar to the stock 34 GTR rim.

Did someone say CE28n's in Bronze still around!? What off set would they be? They are the ones I am looking at for the Evo but the nearest I can find is James' Advan RS's when they arrive to check for clearance and looks.

We should turn it into a Jack appreciation thread! Awesome looking car Jack and from a stealth point of view, those wheels look ace in black but from an all round look, I preferred them in bronze. Stunning car either way though
