  1. And to make matters worse, I actually went to look today! LOL! So whose car did the idea come from, the plot thickens!
  2. Thats cool if they are similar, certainly gives it a nice finish. Havent seen Dezz's so will have to check it out too.
  3. Nice car and tidy boot install. The indicators look stealth when they are off but how clear are they from a distance as last thing you want is someone running into you.
  4. Damn The Sport, how could I forget! Used to love reading that on the paper round!
  5. ROFL! That paper is amongst the most dubious ones in the UK along with the Star. Neither renouned for the truth unfortunately. Great if its true but take with a pinch of salt from that paper.
  6. The problem being the ones who would fudge it are the ones you want to stop being on the road in general. The honest ones will largely (I suspect) be the ones who are mature enough to own a driving licence. Rhett is right and good to admit about not owning a skyline on P's. To all the ones saying badluck, why? I dont see anything bad about gaining experience in a $hit box, getting your no claims down on a cheaper policy and driving something that doesnt provide too much temptation too plant it.
  7. Took me 4 goes to read it! Good work Dane and Geoff and you need to come on here more Darren!
  8. I just remembered so jumped on SAU and damn that quick thinking President has already posted it!!!! We used to do it in the UK a lot and people still do largely because the number plate combinations were so restrictive, you had to be creative with caps. Mind you number plates there are made at any locksmiths so you can get italics etc (all be it illegal) and spaced how you want. I got one as part of my 18th present.
  9. Letter sent JW Apparently there is also a bracket being fitted to Evos that pushes the plate even further out so it is completely parallel with the front of the bar (currently sits on a slight angle) to overcome this. Who was it who had the problem with putting a spot in the middle of their plate to spell something. Can't remember if it was SAU or WRX but fairly sure they had some grief over defacing.
  10. So nothing about making the test more stringent then in the above legislation. The test would be the first part to weed out some of the shocking drivers and keep them on L's until they are of a high enough standard for the roads. This includes under confident and over confident. The info you have posted appears to give Vic Roads a bit more scope for banning vehicles that were previously in a loop hole. Heading in the right direction but that alone will not solve everything.
  11. Right click and Save Target As Its about 3.5MB so will take a while to open and actually locked up the first time I tried it.
  12. Well done Juz! Picking up hitchhikers huh! Didnt know that was your style
  13. Can you elaborate based on experience? I can and it isnt easy as someone mentioned above, photographic type footage or something that can not be disputed was required. Some of the time, the person who has reported it has a grudge for something else such as such as a bad lane change, speeding, not indicating etc.
  14. My g/f's brother got one of these for throwing a cigarette butt out of his window on Church St, Brighton of all places. He doesnt even smoke in his car. From what I know they can be contested but are extremely difficult to get out and he ended up paying. Can be good but open to a lot of misinterpretation by over zealous members of the public who dont like a car/person who "may" not be doing anything wrong.
  15. I went past a booze bus at 4.30pm on Beach Road just before Bay St yesterday. I am all for booze buses but..... They positioned it just before Bay Rd, Sandringham (have seen it there a few times before as I lived only 1km further up). However just over Bay Rd, they were doing roadworks so the largest bottle neck I have ever seen was created from a combination of the two. I imagine with this blitz they are having on drink drivers, they need to cover all sorts of hours but a bit better planning on that section of road for that day wouldnt have gone a miss.
  16. Why does it have to be restricted to committee members
  17. ROFL! Just picturing you in Juz' role knowing what I know!
  18. Happy Birthday
  19. Dude I dont think I have seen you break a sweat! The coolest cucumber going! That was the ultimate test, GTR + wall + speed and still, no sweat!
  20. Definately agree there. Was just a little scary at the time especially when you could hear Snowy's tyres screaching but not see him and then Chris not moving but facing the barrier. All good in the end though.
  21. Leave form is now in.
  22. Mate they are awesome pics! Superb pic of the car and helicopter.
  23. Looks great Ant, just change it Ant95GTST now.
  24. Brisby's 32 found its long lost brother in both car and number plate at the Dutton. Plates are in the Dutton thread.
  25. Sydney a bit at this stage due to HQ being there. Applied to relocate but think I will end up staying in Melbourne and working between Laverton and Geelong.
