Interesting you mention all that. The amount of bogans out doing burn outs and dragging last night that I could hear from my place was far higher than I can remember for a long time. Maybe when the pubs/restaurants are closed for Good Friday, they have nothing better to do. Was going on well into the night.

May have been the same one I saw at lunch today on Camberwell junction. Had a plate like GDZILA, red too. Lots of people were looking at, was about 1pm.

M3 mirrors on anything other than an M3 are gay. The UK went through a phase where they were on everything from an old Ford to Vauxhalls, Renaults etc Leave them on an M3 and thats it Nice colour but would only do it if I was keeping the car indefinately.

Ca Ching, I think you are on the money. The trees have no leaves hence northern winter and would have to be either US or Europe outside of UK.

^^ No credit history to get a loan and on a student visa, I don't fancy the chances

If that had been crashed I would expect to see the airbag deployed. At 1.28, that steering wheel looks perfectly intact. Crushed I think.

Very dirty 32 GTR in grey driving down the Hume, then along the Tulla. Turned off to head towards Docklands/Tunnel/Kingsway. Looked the front bar had been roped together. All between 2-3pm today.

Banana bar link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ar-t108696.html Not a bad bar at all

Good links and post ^^ Is the car currently in your name? RWC are required at change of ownership either from the buyer or seller with a period of 30 days given to get that RWC in once the car has been purchased. Most people sell the car with the RWC rather than ask the new buyer to organise it incase any work is required, it can then be factored into the sale price as the last thing the new buyer wants is to shell out more money to get the car on the road. Petrol prices currently are around the $1.10 per litre for 91 RON up to about $1.38 for 98 RON which I paid yesterday.

Well done on the buy, look forward to seeing it in action mate -
There are over 3000 cyclists doing the Torquay ride this weekend down there today to make the day more appealing!

Someone in a white 33 GTST giving it billy big balls reving the car loudly on Riversdale Rd at Camberwell Junction at about 1.15pm today. No one cares how noisy the car is at a suburban set of traffic lights.
-
Needs to be organised. My friends from the Celica club and Ford club in the UK go over twice a year. Easter is one of the busiest weekends there. Only a few hours driving from my parents place in the UK. 2010 sounds good with me.

Spotted my first 35 GTR on the road today. It joined via the ramp from St Kilda Rd down onto Queens Parade. Drove all the way along there round to Kings Way with it a few cars ahead. So many people looking and pointing at it. Was from about 5.50pm to 6.10pm with the crawling traffic.

Poor form on their part with a flash light. A quick blip of the red and blues to pull you over and give the car the once over would have sufficed. To shine a spotlight at different parts of the car and make a smart ass comment with the window down doesnt portray them in a good light at all.

Its too late to submit pics of the 31 Ash, the choice has been made! Well done Matt

4 wheel drive into 2 wheel drive could have been a contributing factor and I think I was doing under 3 figures in mph but coupled with the camber of the road, it felt very unstable! I had always thought of Mustang's as something of an enthusiasts car hence why we hired it specifically. Didnt do the luggage sums very well though either.

We hired one of these to drive from Vegas to LA in last year. Was moderately impressed with the performance but the handling was shocking with the wallowy suspension, most noticed on the long sweeping bends driving down into LA. Probably OK for street driving if you take it easy.

As an avid cyclist I see both sides of the coin. I invariably drive more than I cycle at the moment with the work commute and weekends but I do hear the pain of motorists. I like to give a friendly "dickhead" out the window to cyclists that disobey lights and don't signal as I do when on the bike. Plenty of bad parties on both side of the table. A number of car drivers will rather than wait in a queue, squeeze up the inside of a line and cut cyclists off to beat 5 cars in a queue, only to be in the same line at the next lights. A number of cyclists dont obey red lights and don't signal. I did my cycling test at 11 years old on the roads in the UK (not mandatory but advised by schools over there) which has stood me in a good position to share the roads with other users such as horses, cars, push bikes etc. Cyclists dress is no issue, we all see riced up cars and thats a cyclist's way of ricing up, all show and no go. Better driver training and cycle training is needed and less traffic lights which piss both parties off Quick edit - I have been knocked off twice while living in Australia, once by a hoodlum by the name of Brisby and the other by some moron who fell off crossing my path and caused several hundred $$ worth of damage to my front wheel and brakes to which he paid none of on repairs. In the UK cycling over 10,000 miles a year for several years, I came off once on black ice entering a corner too fast. No hard feelings Bris as you had more damage than me.

We felt it in Port Melb. I thought it was just the cat scratching the sofa like they do occasionally where they start pulling at it. Jumped on the Herald Sun site and was quite surprised to see what it really was

This was discussed on the Evo forum recently. Personalised plates can be replaced but it appears normal ones aren't (that was the conclusion reached). Logically, if you pay $400-$500 for custom plates, someone then pinches them, why should you be penalised for their actions. Standard issue $30 plates though, just replaced with standard issue ones I believe.

Hadnt been to the Melbourne Motorshow before, only the London one so wasn't sure what to expect. 370Z looked good, GTR looked stunning and got quite a few pics of it. Best stand would have to be the Mitsubishi one. Only spent a couple of hours in there and for $19 wasn't bad.

LOL! Great pics mate! ^^ I am worried about where you are positioned in the Death Race picture, maybe the cars ahead are trying to avert disaster by turning out of your path! Looks like another great DECA both at the center and the night out. Gutted to have missed it Bring on May though

I had a similar issue, same scenario. I have 2 remote gates but sits in a basement with about 10 other cars. I was insured with Shannons. Also, technically, it is a locked garage (just houses multiple cars). They will do it and they also did my g/f's mini which lived on the street. I think it depends who you speak to.

If the skyline isnt going to be used a lot especially for events where it is going to be punished, I would keep it. Track days etc will start to chew up $$ which is fine when you have the disposable income but you dont want to have to leave it sat in the garage for weeks as you can't afford new pads/tyres after destroying them. The Jazz pricing as someone else says is out of whack and everyone is looking for a bargain at the moment, much the same reason as you are building a house as opposed to 6 months ago I suspect? It also sounds like you have done a few little bits to the car so I would keep it rather than lose that money too. However all of the above is null and void if you are not into performance cars like you were 12 months ago, we all go through it and some emerge to get something better, others settle for lesser cars.
