  1. Could be quite legitimate to bring a European car down here for testing. Europe doesnt experience the temperatures somewhere like Broken Hill would get. What letter is under the EU circle of stars? That will tell you the country of origin in theory. Looks very Volvo like as their lines have been getting softer over the years. Saw a prototype Rolls when I lived in the UK in Stratford Upon Avon. Phantom I think it was. This was back in 2000 though.
  2. Recieved, thanks Lol at Nick
  3. Great stuff guys, thank you. To be honest I dont think I need much more than hospital cover (peace of mind), maybe some eye surgery cover and dental. I have only spent 1 night in hospital since birth so dont class myself as a high risk. The whole idea in my opinion is just to get it for peace of mind so I am happy to pay the minimum for what I need. Good websites as well guys
  4. Sounds very similar to the event in New Zealand where the guy with Insurance guy who was caught a couple of weeks back. http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3535996a12855,00.html Hope you get it sorted
  5. damn, still yellow though isnt it?
  6. Thanks Funky too. From what I gather, I think hospital would be a good option to have included especially as I would say most of the things that I would go to the doctor or require treatment for will involve hospitalisation
  7. Never one to diss the TVR also Troy but correct me if I am wrong (flame suit on) but wasnt it only the 34 GTR Nur that came with the carbon bonnet from factory like Geoff has as Troy has a V Spec II and I didnt think that did? B)
  8. The one with the couple of pics in and the link to another forum has only a total of a few out of the link above. Most are different pics. Thanks though.
  9. Excellent, thanks mate. Does that entitle you to everything or do you have a breakdown of what that covers you for by any chance? I am not used to paying anything for medical treatment and heavilly subsidised dental from the UK so currently go back once a year for a check up to stay on the records there.
  10. Hey all Just wondering who has Private Medical Insurance on here and those who do, do you mind saying what you pay for what you get? I have ambulance cover but have no idea where to start looking or what is a good and bad price. I have a medicare card but thats it. More and more people mention it and I am now a bit paranoid about not having it for fear of having to recieve treatment if I come off my bike etc and have to shell out 000's. I am a 25 year old male with good medical history so if someone can give me the low down on what I should be paying or even any websites, it would be very much appreicated. Thanks in advance. B)
  11. Hey all Courtesy of another car forum and user MatRS1600i: http://www.evolicious.com/spypics I havent seen these on here anywhere but if they are here, please let me know B)
  12. Thanks for the information. It was supposed to be sarcastic though but a bit difficult to convey I have used them out in the country a fair bit when on dirt bikes which is where this will come in handy as well as the cruises. B)
  13. Lambo Countach Fully worked sapphire Cosworth SL Brabus 55 Mercedes Mercedes Brabus SLR R34 GTR V Spec II
  14. Did the truck driver know he hit you? That doesnt look a lot of damage from a truck so chances are he wouldnt have even felt it. Did any of the witnesses say they saw him looking sheepish or at least guilty prior to driving away? Fully agree to go after every cent to get this repaired and also informing the police. Glad you now have insurance sorted but all these comments about throwing the book and capital punishment from other posters are a bit far fetched IF he didnt even know.

    Hi Hi

  16. I have been on the recieving end of a Gippsland equivilant and can say even though I was doing the BBQ and limited to one beer, they are a lot of fun. Lots of drunk people turning up and wandering through the vines and falling asleep in the sun! Will chat to the good lady.
  17. What area are you looking at? Plenty in the Port Melbourne area. R Bar on the sea front is good
  18. See you all there
  19. Well done Ni. Very pleased with mine and currently trying to intercept some conversations around the bayside area. For some reason not many residents seem to be using CB's Thanks for organising it and see you sometime soon mate
  20. I agree with this man Not having a go at you mate but to get to this stage you must have been doing something wrong. To now want a GTR in the short term could well increase your chance of replicating that error. Go for the 12 months, learn from what you did and if you and the people around you (assuming they look out for you) think you can handle something quick like a GTR, then go for it. As you said, shannons dont like a suspension. Dont become a statistic dude. B)
  21. Is to keep your trophy haul in? My brother does this but he is also in the UK and customs dont seem to be such a fan of wood coming into the country unless it is treated. Something about pests and things living in the wood
  22.  That would be an ultimate insult!lol I would ask a Kawaski dealer. There was a car in the UK in Kawasaki green that was a feature car in a mag about 4 years ago. It is quite hard on the eyes seeing a whole car in it.
  23. I thought that pic of the guys with the cans was Chris and James on the couch at Phillip Island! Only thing that threw me was the door in the background
  24. You have been sprung! Which hemisphere are you in now? There should be some that vaguely match that description just over the border up there. Geoff might be able to point you to some good places (maybe a border or 2 then)
  25. Welcome mate. Ford and Nissan guy myself also.
