  1. Yeah that would have been Mav
  2. Thats big $$ Is it heavily modified? 33 GTR for me as a 24 year old with JCI was $1200 fully comp which was standard apart from an exhaust. Interestingly I pay less to insure my Lexus with RACV than JCI quoted me. I pay $530 fully comp on the IS200 and JCI wanted $900. On the original subject, from my previous insurance experience both here and overseas, anything illegal voided the entire insurance whether it contributed to the claim or not.
  3. I thought if it wasnt moved it didnt count. Ah well, with more DECA's next year you are bound to get on top at one.
  4. Cool! B) I opted for the dont hit any cones theory especially on the wangs. That was the only way I was ever going to get a decent time. I think I hit one on the skid pan but hoped the quicker guys would hit a few more than they did I did however get lost more than once which definately did not help Am very impressed with the times set though by the GTi B)
  5. Assuming it is standard and in fair/good condition, based on the ones I looked at. I would put it around the 17K mark and probably drop to 16K at the lowest. There are lots around the 20K mark but they dont seem to be selling IMO.
  6. Cool pics Joel Road Runner - Looking through the times, yours were fantastic. Any tips
  7. Happy Birthday mate, 31 is it? Enjoy the day
  8. Very well written letter there. Not pushy or rude but to the point and with little extra details where required. Hope you get this sorted mate.
  9. Excellent pics Adz. I noticed you holding the camera in the air snapping away. Who is in the first pic, is that Joel with Paul?
  10. I am chuffed with my times! Out of the box liberty with 2 mods. An SAU group buy window tint and my private plates How come Ryan isnt down as the winner of the 2wd slalom yet won it 3 times?
  11. Excellent stuff, thanks mate B) Did you have to put the other cars up especially snowys, makes mine look even slower than it already is!
  12. Now that is a shot, should be sold back to Ford B) Was impressed with the Falcon and the power And no probs Mav, any time Man we need some decent emoticons!
  13. Excellent pics Shan Some cool pics of my car especially the start line with James' mum and the round the bend shot on the short wang. Did you get many out on the track as I noticed you holding a camera a few times in the passenger seat?

Hello and welcome to SAU Vic Enjoy your stay
  16. Blue Liberty mate
  17. Just got in. What an awesome weekend that was. My first time taking the car on any sort of course so really enjoyed finding the limits of it. Huge huge thanks to the guys and girls for organising it, Chris, Bec, Blaise for taking time off work Friday to set the course and test things. James for almost losing his voice doing starting on the skid pan. Jarrod and Min for navigating for me so I could go the right way round the cones as the understeer was so bad by the time the car corrected, I couldnt work out which cone to go between! Thanks to all the marshalls for standing out in the baking sun to ensure we all had a good day. Really was a fantastic effort by all involved to make the day run smoothly. Last night was superb and good to see so many rex guys socialising this time. I passed Bris as I was checking out this morning still holding a can having been out all night, the man is an animal! Massive thanks to all involved and see you at the next one.
  18. Funny how in life, at the time most people take what they have for granted and in the future they spend time reminising about what they had.
  19. Its only just There is quite a big market for them in the UK still as I bought it in from there. Has to be run through a power converter though. Good old Alex the kid B)
  20. Would also be interested as I missed out.
  21. I have a website that sells all the old school trainers like Reebok pumps and hexalites etc as I am quite big into this. I have a Sega Master System II and a megadrive with copius amounts of games at home that is set up just to relive those days! I also recently acquired the A-Team Season 1 box set for my birthday. Global hypercolour t-shirts from the 80's, he-man, spokey dokeys and my all time favourite - the cosworth
  22. I will contact our BP Account Manager shortly and see if they can shed any light on Vic or servos with some.
  23. I assume they won? After the Uraguay players comments about Australia not deserving to be in the WC, I hope Aus did beat them.
  24. Happy Birthday mate Have a good one B) Thought I had better check the forum list page as someone one day will no doubt post up a members birthday 6 months before it and get 3 pages of good wishes
  25. That may be the case and I know of several higher than that but in the UK we cannot buy a custom plate that has much variation for a flat rate like you can here. Private plates have a proper market of their own like used cars that I havent seen here. ELV11S would have been standard issue and working roughly in years it would have been the late 70's. The less letters and numbers, the more cost. I believe the highest if not one of the highest was CK1 which was on a jag. OAS1S was also very high and bought by the drummer of Oasis in the late nineties. Sure you might get a bit more but people can think again and get a fancy plate for $500.
