  3. James - a weekday day time post from your quarters, what is the world coming to?!
  4. Normally listen from about 6.45am onwards so no Reading my local bayside paper and there is a picture of the prototype GTR in there (nothing new to us) with a little write up. In the write up they talk about this GTR being imported to Australia wheras previous versions have been grey imports. The guy then goes on to explain what a grey import is. Apparently it is something that doesnt meet the design regulations of Australia. I was under the impression that any car to be registered, had to meet the design standards in order to pass. He doesnt make it very clear that when they land in the country they may not meet them but to get them on the road they must meet them.
  5. One pic of many I have mate for you to enjoy! Fantastic car but onwards and upwards. Main thing was you had your fun and had your way out with some $$. Good luck with the future mate B)
  6. What if your car has been modifed since purchase. That will give a higher value than is stated on the purchase document. I guess it is also a good reason not to either put an obsurd price for value with insurance nor for stamp duty at purchase unless you can substantiate it or are willing to wear it. Very good point though
  7. Might be a daft question but can drivers do anything between driving or is there something for drivers at all points during the day i.e different courses? If drivers can help, let me know, happy to lend a hand. EDITED: Drivers can't be volunteers, sorry guys, the thought was there
  8. Yeah, probably wasnt very clear but this one B)
  9. http://media.putfile.com/FordGT29 Video of one http://www.romansinternational.co.uk The company that his was sold at but seems to have gone. Some gorgeous cars on there though including many Enzos etc. Well worth a look
  10. No need to be modest, it was really your skyline wasnt it they were all coming to look at B) The latest one isnt supposed to be that great based on Jeremy Clarksons experiences with ownership.

  13. Great to hear Scott. Look forward to seeing it in action with those new vents
  14. Exactly what we have and in that colour. Am liking the rims. Our car is at 200,000kms and still going strong with no maintenance needed between services. Is it manual or auto mate?
  15. I looked for about 20 minutes and was about to give up! Thinking there was no way I was going to find 3 or 4 photos amongst 10,000 cyclists! Then mapped the path directly to grab the pics seeing as they disabled right click
  16. Mine reads 5.43pm mate, maybe yours is out Copied straight after I posted: Today, 07:34 PM

  21. Any word on a car list as well as the ex-Gibson cars Geoff?
  22. Fantastic news Snowy and well done to you both. Glad all is well mate
  23. Ok, seeing as you dont want to mention the "bits" Is the car actually illegal or is it Vic Roads telling him/her it is illegal seeing as we dont know the "bits". We are all human and the person they took it to could be wrong. If it is indeed illegal: Has he sought further opinion from a higher level in Vic Roads or even another branch, incase this person is in some way confused or misinformed? Is there anyway of tracking who originally signed off the compliance at Vic Roads so help can be sought in that area (bad employee, misinformed etc) My main concern would be getting the car to a road worthy state so it can be presented for signing and cross the bridge at that stage. If the vehicle is not in a legal state, there is no choice but to get it complied a second time.
  24. What are the required items? Is it just seatbelts? Or is it tyres, intrusion beams etc? For the hassle that is involved if things turn nasty with the person who complied, it might just be easier to buy the bits. Of course all depends on the cost and how easy it is to source the bits. Never heard of that happening before though.
