Read the first sentence of Geoff's post and thought, I might pass on that then!
Can you put me down for a copy, I can either EFT you the money or bring it on Tues.
Can a double or nothing prize be done for Black Betty also
Would be cool to see the Moorabin go kart footage
Will you be bringing many to the meeting on Tuesday or should we reserve a copy in advance
I also have some footage of the graph from Snowy's run on the dyno from Saturday of the Plasma screen. Not sure how good it is but if Snowy is happy, I dont mind surrendering it.
Hampton St runs off of Nepean Hwy at Meneres BMW. Just follow it for a little way until you hit the main st.
Oh and if anyone likes Charcoal Chicken. The absolute best one IMO is the one on Glenhuntly Rd just near the train line up near the intersection of Grange Road. Have had a few others and none get close to this one. Damn now I want one at 9am!
Now there is an offer!
Good summary Adz and sorry StarionTurbo to take that fine credit away from you of getting a bogan country guy to do a burnout on foot
I agree there should be somewhere to vent your anger although not bad mouth the police (which no one has).
But.........
The above post goes beyond that. As a club SAU is trying to establish itself as a reputable club with a base of enthusiasts. If people started replying to this thread with answers to the two questions in bold above, what does that say about the club? We all know Police read this forums.
IMO Ash was to the point and has pointed out valid points. If the post was put up asking for just stock parts for the car, it would be different.
My 2c guys.
We also can't forget Adz getting that local guy to do a burn out as he crossed the road, on foot! Seeing a drunk guy doing something resembling the moon walk while some how not falling flat on his face, was priceless.
Whats all this:
22 50 Peter Blythe Skyline Gtr A 9 1:46.3210 5 0:12.2570
Is there something you are not telling us Pete! B) B)
Not only is that a flying lap time but a Skyline GTR?
Calm Down Calm Down
Here they are:
West in rare head scratching moment unsure of the amount of laps a session has
Go Team Wang B)
Sonwy on the dyno
Dyno Cars
Sorry nothing much and if anyone wants high res, let me know.
Great pics James, just in the process of editing plates out and mine shall be posted. None as exciting as yours, I am sorry to say.
Awesome weekend, really was good. Funniest moment for me the new Benalia "dob in a hoon policy"
I would say because the market is saturated with Skylines which is bad from a sellers point of view but puts the buyer in a good position.
I do wonder whether there is something else underlying though as IMO:
The cars are well priced
Good Selection
Insurable
Relatively good spares base
Good enthusiast backing through clubs
Does make me wonder what people are going for if it isnt skylines. For the record I am trying to sell my Lexus and having no luck either.
Never heard of that. In each case I have seen, while not your fault, it is claimed off your insurance.
Insurance is guilty until proven innocent
I dont mind as I am old so insurance doesnt cost me much now!

The Duo looks slightly shorter and fatter compared to the traditional memory stick.
We can get Memory Stick Duos:
SONY 1GB MSXM1GN MEMORY STICK PRO DUO (HIGH SPEED)
SONY 1GB MSXM1GS MEMORY STICK PRO DUO (STANDARD SPEED)
SANDISK XSDMSPD-1024-P60
SANDISK ULTRA II MS PRO DUO 1024 XSDMSPDH-1024R
The High Speed Sony one is a bit hard to get at the moment for me as there is no ETA from the suppliers. The Sandisk ones are due in around the 12th Sept and the Standard Sony is in stock.
The prices wouldnt be as cheap as the CF card above but if you get me your best price I will see if I can beat it.
HTH
that date sounds good James. Are you talking about cycling down from St Kilda to mine or driving? Doesnt bother me if you are driving but cant have you guys getting in extra KM's than me!
Might just have to cycle out to meet you all then cycle back past!
Bris I wouldnt shave them, they come back like a gorilla which is not a good look unless you want a career in the circus.
That sounds like a plan James. I am not 100% sure of the route they take past mornington which would be good.
Cool, thanks James. I was thinking of a ride down to Portsea at some point to scout at this side of the bay. Have driven it enough times but cycling is different. Then maybe get the partners to meet us there for the lift back?
My target is a comfortable 110km prior to the event in one hit to give me a benchmark.
Geoff - thanks for the details in the PM, much appreciated.
BTW - I chose HON as my title
