    Yeah that's cool - without the cage is fine. As for the glands - ferretts secrete a smell, and you can have their smell glands removed, which stops the smell..also have them desexed too..and it fixes it all..he's only 4 months old tho, gotta wait till he's just over 6 months old.

    The only thing is, he can't live indoors 24/7 (the smell till u de-gland them) you can't let him loose outside (he'll run off)..so he needs a big cage. Anything smaller is cruel dude..
